Junior Tops <br />with Spikes each e qu ippe d with I 1000 lumen street lighting lamp or equivalent. <br />(I) On Stanfield at alley between Angela Avenue and Pokagon Street: <br />I- Concrete Lighting Standard with White Ball, equipped with I - 1000 lumen street <br />lighting lamp or equivalent lamp. <br />All property furnished by Contractor under this contract shall be and <br />remain the property of the Contra ctor. <br />The Contractor shall at its cost, furnish all lamp renewals and light <br />all lamps in this Paragraph "I" provided for a period t ermimting with the termination <br />of the general contra et f or street 1 ight ing, which termination drte As January I, I935o <br />at noon. <br />All the lamps which shall be provided and, maintained by this Contractor <br />shall be so operated that they vjill give the maximum amount of illumination obtainable, <br />All temps in this Paragraph "I" provided for shall be burned. from one <br />half hour after sunset until one half hour before sunrise, every night and all night, <br />burning approximately four thousand (4000) hours per annum. <br />2. The Contractor shall furnish electricity only for lighting traffic <br />and special danger indicators owned and maintained by the City as follows: - <br />(A) North side of Sample Street,, west of intersection of Fellows and <br />Samples Streets:- <br />4- Special! -Danger Indicators, each equipped with I- 50 watt lighting unit-, burning ill <br />night. <br />(B) At Sample Street Railway Und erpass : <br />j3 -Traffic Indicators, each equipped with I - 50 watt lighting unit, burning all night. <br />(C) .Traffic Directors located by the City as fb ilows : <br />37 - Suspension Type Traffic. Directors, each containing 12 - 50 watt lamps, four of <br />which lamps barb continuously while unit is in service, Units are in service appr <br />!i <br />oximately sixteen _(I6) hours per day. <br />(D) Traffic Directors located by the City as fbllows: <br />15 - Post Type Directors, ee ch containing 3 - 50 watt lamps, one of which burns con- <br />tinuously while the unit is in service, Units are in service approximately sixtee <br />hours per day. <br />The entire installation of traffic directors or danger indicators speci <br />fied in Paragraph '12" hereof, shall be made by the City and the City shall maintain <br />said dorector s or indicators, and all property so installed by said City shall be and <br />remain the property of the City. Contractor will furnish electricity only for the <br />lighting of City"s installation. <br />The Contractor assumes no duty or obligation to maintain an uninterrupted <br />supply of electric energy. The use of electricity cor the purpose of lighting said <br />directors or indicators shall not in any case subject the contract to any liability <br />
