Tuesday, fune'-Zrd.- 4 1930. 10-7 Board met in regular sessi on at 9 A. M. All members present. Minutes of mee'ting held May 27th. 9 1930, read and approved. Board approved the renewal certificate for the bond of the Indiana Bell Telephone Compeny in the amount of $I,,000,00. The Board approved Partial Estimate No.I- for the pawment improvement on the rest J of Logan Street under Improvement Resolution No..2321 in accordance with the terms of the contract between the Pity and Vi. J. Nees Co., under Improvement Res- • olutionNo.232I. The Board. signed and approved same in the amount of $131,1086.17. The Board s igned the contract with the Albert Construction Company for Ahe pavemait- of 0,,1mide Street from Michigan Street to Main Street under Impmvement esolution No.2336 in the amount of $3,,334.60. The Board also approved the construction boAd of same for 50I; of the contract price signed by 1,6etropolitan Csualty Insurance Co. 0 .0 11 0 • 0 The Board signed the contract with the Gross Construction Company for the pavement of the three foot strip on each side of County road on Eddy Street from South Bend Avenue to City Limits under Improvement Resolution No. 2342 in t he amount of $6,107.02. The Board also appmved, the construction bond of some for 50% of the contract price signed by National Surety Company. In the matter of the grade, curb and walk improvement on IV,,lcon Street from Jefferson Street to Colfax Avenue under Improvement Resolution No . 23659 the Boerd hereby orders that sealed proposals shall be received for said improvement up to 10:00 A* MO , of the I7th., d.ay of. June 1930. The -Board further orders that notices of said roposals shall be published on the 6th. 9 day of June and on the 13th. 0 day of June, 930t in the south Bend ":ribune and M-irrcrj according to law, City Engineer, H. G. In the above named resolution-, the Board hereby orders that sealed proposals shall be received for the furnishing of lamps and light necessary for same up to 10:00 A. 11., of the 17th.,, day of June 1930.
