Minutes of meetings held.,,May 20th., and May 2Ist., I930, read and approved. City Engineer, H. G. Wray, Piled plans and. specifications and estimates and the Board adopted said plens and specifications toge tber with the following improve - me nt resolutions: Im.p rovement-Hesolu tion No.2372 f er the local sewer in Yelkus Court between Oak Street and Lincoln Way Test. (See files for copy cf resolution.,) Improvement Resolution No.2373 for the pavement of 1- elkus Court from Oak Street to Lincoln Way West. ( See files for copy cf resolution.) In both of ih.e above named improvement resolutions, the Board hereby orders thAt on. the I8th., day of June I930,. this Board will meet in Their office in the City -all at 7-I5 P. �., to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons interested in or affected by said improvements and will decide whether the benefits to the several lots and ppreels of land liable io be assessed for said impnivenrants will be equal to the estimated costs'of.same as reported by the City Engineer. The Board further orders that notices of said hearings shall be published on the 30th., day of Ilay and on the 6th. , day of June 1930, . in the South Bend Tribune and Mirror according to law and that notices be mailed to property owners according to law. No petitions having been filed f or a change in the type �f pavement other than that specified in the p re�iminary order for the pavement of Eddy treet. ( a 3 foot strip on each side of the County pavement) from North curb line of South Bend Avenue to City Limits under Improvement resolution No.2342, the Board this 27th., day of May 1930 hereby makes a final order for concrete pavement as the type of pavement with which said street shall be improved and awards the eontreet for said improvement to Gross Construct Compsny at their low bid of 56,I07.02 f or concrete pavement. No petitions having been filed for a change in the type of pavement other than that specified in the preliminary order for the pavement of Greenlawn Avenue from Mishawaka Avenue to sunnymede Avenue under improvement Resolution No.2265, the Board this 27th. , day of May I930, hereby makes a final order for sheet asphalt pavement as the type of pavement with which said street shall be improved and awards the contract for said improvement to Albert Construction Company at their low bid cf �25,384.85 for sheet asphalt heavy traffic pevement. Wray, submitted a report on the petition for a change in the type of pave went other than that specified in the preliminary order for the pave- ment of Oa,kside Street from Idichigan street to Fain Street under Improvement Resolution No.2336, showing that 2 resident property miners out cf three have petitioned for asphaltic concrete.
