102 Tuesday, 'May 20th., 1930. City engineer, H. G. Wray, submitted Final Estima to for the local sewer in Clyde Street from Altgeld Street North 225 Feet under Improvement Resolution No. 2317 in the amount of 282.94, which was approved and. signed by the Board., Meeting adjourned at 12 o'Clock goon. On account of the large number of persons present, the meeting was adjourned to the Coun- cil Chambers. City Engineer, H. G. lira. T , submitted the rep cr t on the remonstrance f iled a gainst the- improvement of Huey 'treet from Elwood to Keller under Improvement Resolution No.2356, showing that 7 resident -,ro•perty owners out of 9 had signed the remonstrance. This number constitutes a majority and the Board, therefore,, rescinds all former action taken on said improvement resolution N0.2356 and declares same null and void and the proceedings closed. The Board approved the redistribution of assessments for the improvement on Bulla Street as shown on the schedule submitted by City Engineer , F. G. Wray. This be ing the d ate set, hear ings vrere had on the fbllCwinp improvementresolutions: Improvement resolution No.2363 for the grading of Huey Street from Long - ley Avenue to the alley south of Frederickson �-#reet. (See files for copy of resolu- tion. ) Improvement resolution no.2364 for the grading of Lonpley Avenue from Huey street to Olive. Street. (See files for copy of resolution.) In both of the above named improvement rem lut ions , no remonstrators appe=firer and no written Yemonstrances were filed and the Board finds that the benefits to the several lots and parcels of land liable to be assessed for said improvements will be equal to the estimated costs of same as reported by the City Civil engineer and therefore the Board takes final action ori sadi improvement resolutions and declare same in all things ratified, conf irmed and approved without modification. Ti e Board now orders that on the IOth., day of June I930, this Board will receive open and read sealed proposals for the construction of said improvements up to I0:00 A. M. The Board further orders that notices of said proposals shall be published in the South Bend Tribune and Mllrror on the 30th. , day of Itiiay an on the 6th., day of June I930 according to law. In the matter of the pavement of Humboldt Street from Allen Street to the West curb line of Diamond Avenue under Improve-m-.nt Resolution No.23517, the Board hereby orders that on the IOth., day of June 1930, this Board will receive, open and read sealed. proposals for the construction of said improvement up to I0:00 A. N. The Board further orders that notices of said sealed proposals shall be published on the 30th . , day of Fray and. on the 6th . , day cf June I9 3O. i n the South Bend `tribune and Mirror according to law. This being the date set, hearing was ha. d on Impro venen t Resolution No.236 for the grade, curb and walk imrorovermnt on F,leon Street from Jefferson Street to Colfax Avenue. In the above named improvemmnt resolution, remonstrators appe^ red but no remonstrance was filed and the Board, being folly advised in the premises, finds that the benefits to the several lots and parcels of land liable to be assessed for said improvement will be equal to the estimated cost of same as reported by the City Engineer, The Board, theref are , de ci des to take f insl action on said resolution and deelares same in all things ratified, conf i3:ed and approimd.
