I'he Bo-ard instructed the Clerk of the Board to ask the Board of Public '-a.fety to co-operate with this Board in the matter of having the night policemen - report to street light outages in order that we my receiveccredit for same on our monthly lighting bills. hiee ti ng adjourned at 12 o'clock noon. The Board approved a renewal eertifierte for contractors bond in favor of C. a'_.. Jordan Co., in the amount of �I,000.00 signed by=merican 6urety Company. This being the dste set, hearing was had on Improvement resolution No. 2356 for the iDsvement of Huey- Street from .Elwood -"'venue to_!, arquette venue. (See files for copy of resolution'.) In the above named improvement resolution, remonstrators appe.^red but no written remonstrance was filed and after hearing all persons interested in said im-oro vement, the roard decides to modify said resolution to read "from Elwood LL'venVe to K-eller Street.'' ,-7ith this modification, the Board finds that the benefits to the several lots and parcels of land liable to be assessed for said improvement vrill be equal to the estim ted cost of srrre as reported by the City Jngineer. In the above nerved_ improvement resolution, reryonstra:tors appeeared but no zrrrittffi remonstrance i,as filed and upon the request of property owners, the Board decides to modify said improvement resolution to read "From Allen Street to west curb line of Diamond venue.,, -With this modification, the Board finft that the benefits to the several lots and parcels ^f land liable to he assessed for said improvement will betequal to the estimated cost of same as reported by -the City Engineer. The board, therefore, decides to take final action on said improvement res: lution and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and apprAed as modified. This beinn the date set, hearing was had on Improvement resolution No. 2358 for the pavement of Robinson Street from Lincoln -ay East t i Calvert Street. (See files for copy of resolution.) in the above named improvement resolution, remonstrators appeared and a written remonstrance eras filed and the Board, being fully advised in the premises,, decides to over rule said remonstrance and finds that the benefits to the several lots and parcels of land liable to be assessed for said improvement will be equal to the estimated cost of same as reported by the City Engineer. The Board, therefore, decides to take final action on said resolution and. declares same in all things, ratified, confirmed and approved. The Board hereby orders written remonstrance delivered to City Engineer for c heck .as to the number of resident property owners on same, This being the date set, hearing way had on Improverr^_ent resolution No.2359 for the pave me nt of auskin Street from O,,klan d Street to Clover Street. In the above named iMprovement resolution, remonstrators appeared and after he^rind° all persons interested. in said. -improvement, the Board decides to resdind all former action taken on said. resolution and declares same null and void and the proceedings closed..
