Tuesday, February 25th. , I93O. <br />Board met in regular session. at 9 A. N. All members present, Minutes <br />of meeting held February ISth. ,. I93O Y readh and approved. <br />The Board approved certain extras in connection with the remodeling <br />of the City Ball in favor of Gerber and Haley Contractors, as shown on detailed <br />schedule_, totaling $1, 063.50. <br />The Board.^approved the following excavation bonds: <br />Excavation bond of terry Nicodemus in the amount of I,O0O.00 signed <br />by Ivl,ryland Casualty Co. <br />Excavation Bond of J. B. Fleck in the amount of I,000.O0 signed by <br />Maryland Casualty Co. <br />The Board approved the redistribution of the Hill Street grade, mrb <br />and walk improvement and hereby orders Clerk to deliver same to City Controller. <br />This being the date set, hearings were had on the following Vacation <br />Resolutions: <br />Vacation Resolution No. 2323 for the va cat ion of the alley west of <br />Pulasku 'street from Division 'street to t'-e first alley south of D ivis ion Street ( See <br />files for copy of resolution. ) <br />Vacation Resolution No.2322 for the vacation of the alley west of <br />Kosciuszko Street from Division street to the first alley south of Division Street. <br />(See files for copy of resolution.) <br />Vacation Resolution No.2324 for the vacation of the alley, west of Brook= <br />fed street from Division street to the first alley south of Division treet (see <br />files for copy of resolution.) <br />Vacation resolution No.2.325 for the vacation of the first alley south <br />of Bowman Street from Nigh street to Studebaker 1',krk, more particularly described as <br />the alley between lot 208 third plat of South east Addition and lots I26 and 127 in <br />Oak. Park 4th. , Addition. (See files for copy of resolution. ) <br />In all of the above named resolutions, no remonstrators appeared and <br />no written remonstrances were filed and the Board, being fully advised in the premises.; <br />decides to take final action on said Vacation Resolutions and declares.same in all <br />things ratified confirmed and approved and the alleys ys vacate , <br />The Board now orders that lists or .rolls be prepared of all owners and <br />holders of property and of valuable intersts therein sought to be vacated, which list <br />or roll shall also describe the prcnerty beneficially or injuriously affected by such <br />vacations. <br />T)-e Board approved pay ro Its claims in the amount of $I1.783,99 fbr <br />various departments. <br />The Board approved the corrected Plat of Lincoln Terrace Addition with <br />the following dedication: <br />Lincoln Terrace Addition, <br />The annexed plat is a plot of Lincoln Terrace addition to the City of <br />South Bend,, '�t. Joseph county, Indiana, and comprises the following tract ofl land , to- <br />wit Beginning at the southwest corner of Lot numbered Ten (Id) Kensington ddition; <br />thence north twenty-two (22) degrees and Thirty-two (32) minutes east along the westeAy <br />line of said lot Ten (I0) one hundred forty seven and six tenths .(147. 6) feet; thence <br />north along the west line. of Kensington Addition fourteen hundred sicty-six (1466)feet <br />to the north line of Section Three (3) Twonship Thirty-seven (37) North, Range Two (2)1 <br />East; thence west five hundred six and six teneths (506.6) feet; thence north two hundred <br />twenty-four and twenty five hundredths (224.25) ft; thence west seven hundred forty-siX <br />and five tenths (746.5) feet; thence south eight hundred twenty-four and twenty five <br />hundredths (824.25) feet; thence west five hundred seventy (570) feet; thence south . <br />two hundred sixty-two and eight tenths (262.8) feet to the northerly line of Lincoln <br />Highway; thence southeasterly along the northerly line of Lincoln Hi hwat to lace of <br />beginning; excepting therefrom Lots Thirty seven, (37). Thirty nine C39) and -orty One <br />(4I) in Ka.IeYs econd Lincoln Highway Addition. <br />The Plat contains two hundred and thirty four (234) lots numbered from <br />One I) to Two hundred and forty (240) inclusive; excepting. numbers Twenty (20) , Twenty <br />One 2I), Twenty-two (22), Twenty three (23). Twenty four t24) and T� entyfive (25). The <br />size of the lots and the widths of the streets and alleys are marked on the plat in Oee�t <br />and decimals of feet. <br />The streets and alleys eve hereby dedicated to the public for use as <br />public highways. <br />Be it known that Lots -numbered One (I) to 6ix (6) and Twenty six (26). <br />to Twenty-eight (28) inclusive, shall be restricted to that no dwelling shall be erect <br />ed on the same which shall cost less then Six Thousand Dollars( 6,000.O0) 9 Be it <br />further known that Lots Numbered Two hundred and Fifteen (2I5) to Two Hundred and Nine <br />teen (219, and Two Hundred and.
