Wednesdayt February 5th.1, I93D, <br />0 <br />0 <br />• <br />0 <br />0 <br />Board met in regular session at 7-15 P. M- Mr. John K. Smogor absent. <br />This being the date set, hearing was had on Improvement Resolution No.232I for <br />the pavEment of the west one-half of Logan Street from Jefferson Street to Drlishawaka <br />Avenue. <br />In the above named improvement resolutiono no ierrionstrators appeared- and no <br />Written remonstrance was filed and the Board, being fully advised in the premises,, <br />finds that the benefits to the several lots and parcels of land liable to be assessed <br />for said improvement will be equal to the estimateO cost of same as reported by the. ., <br />City Engineer. The Board, therefore, takes final action on said improvement resolution <br />and declares some in all things <br />ratified,, confirmed and approved without modificatiOri. <br />This being the date set continued hearing was had on the assess*ent roll f cr the <br />pavement on Kline Street from Lincoln Way East to Ewing Avenue under Improvement Resole- <br />tion No.2254. <br />In the above named assessTent roll". George Omacht, Orie Parker, and Isaac K. Parks <br />attorneys, were present and the Board,, after hearing all persons interested in said roll <br />the Board decides to reduce the cost of assessments in the amount of $10,000.00, <br />$5,000.00 of which is to be borne by the City and $5,000.00 by The Twyckenham Land and <br />Investment Company. The roll is hereby ordered modified as follows: <br />The property belonging to the School City of South Bend, The Now York Central <br />Railway Company and Orie Parker, are to be assessed as originally shown on the primary <br />assessment roll. <br />Lots No. 4, <br />6"7 and 8 in Klines Addition, Lot,.No.99 in KeUseys Ewing Avenue . - <br />Addition and lotNo374 in Roseland Park 2nd Addition, all in the name of Twyckenham <br />Land and Investment Company are to be increased in the amount of $5,,600.00. <br />-a -Ellne street 'are to be reduced <br />in assessments on, the balance of lots abVtting -6n <br />in the amount of $I01000.00. <br />The Board hereby cyders City Engineer, H. G. Wray, to modify the assessment roll <br />and decides to continue the hearing on same until Tuesday, February, IIth., 19300 at <br />10: 00 A. M. <br />Meeting adjourned at 9-30 P.
