Raymond as <br />Director of the T-unicipal Air Fort to replace John Kuespwrt uhose resignation was <br />given the .hoard some time ago. The appointment of 1,=r. Maymgnd is to be effective from <br />this date, Eovember 26th . , I929. <br />PW897.49The 1:oard approved claims for various departments in the amount of <br />. <br />The board pay roll claims for various department s in the amount of <br />6,037.02 and hereby orders City Controller to pay same. <br />The board pay roll claims in connection with 'hack Elevation in the <br />amount of 4p433.33 and herby orders City Controller to pay same out of Track Elevation <br />fund . <br />The Board instructed City Lngineer; H— G. G. 17ray filed the primary assessment roll for <br />the pavement on Prairie Avenue from ebster street to Grant 6treet under Improvement <br />Resolution 1,1o.2275. <br />In the above named assessment roll, the Board hereby orders that <br />on the Ilth. , day of December 1929, this Board will meet in their office in the City I <br />Ball at 7-I5 D. 11., to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property <br />has been assessed for said improvement and will decide whether the several lots and � <br />parcels of land have been or Frill be benefited in the amounts shown on said. primary <br />roll or in a greater or less sum than that shown on said roll. T. Tranberg for the pavement ' <br />of the alley north of LaSalle Avenue from Street Street to, West line of lot N0.7 Keefe s <br />Sub under Improvement Resolution No.2298 in th.e amount of $2,231.07. The Board also <br />9p.proved the construction bond of same in the amount cC 50'b of the contract price <br />signed by The Fidelity and C.sualty Company of few York. <br />The Board, si{=_-ned the contract with E0. T. Tranberg for the pavement <br />of the alley east of Miami `'treet from Victoria Street to Altgeld Street, under Impro <br />vement Resolution 1,-`0.2297 in the amount of 4892.30. The Board also approved the - <br />construction bond of same for 50- of the contract price signed by Fidelity and Casualt <br />Comp -ny of New York. <br />she Board signed the contract with. lilliam H. Burke for the plumb <br />ing in the nei�r Fire Station ho.II in the amount of 412'56.00.
