The Board further orders that notices of said proposals shall be published on the 30th. , day of `August and on the 6th. , `.day of September I929, in the South Bend News Times and Tribune according to law. All members present. . z The Board signed the contract with'7illiston Construction Company for the.sewer land pavement improvement on TT&ncy and other streets under Improvement Resolution No. 1�2286 in the amount of 187,15I.56. The Board also approved the construction bond of same ;for 50% of the contract price signed by Inland Bonding Company. The Board signed the contract with Williston Construction Commny for the sewer and pavement improvement on Westmoor Street under Improvement Resolution No.2287 in the amount of 78,960.25. The Board also approved the construction bond of same for 50� of :the contract price signed by Inland Bonding Company. City Engineer, H. G. "Jrav, filed the tabulation of bids for the pavement of the Ist., alley north -of Col:"ax Avenue from Esther Street to Greenlawn Avenue under Improve ment Resolution No.2258 as follows: Hoban & Roach 7. H. Barnes T. T. Tranberg concrete pavement 1,462.00 1,385.30 I915I4.00 Bids having been received for the pavement of the Ist., alley north of Colfax Avenu from Esther Street to Greenlawn Avenue under Improvement Resolution No.2258, the Board this 28th., day of August I929, hereby awards the contract for said improvement to H. N. Barnes at his low bid of $1,385.00 for concrete pavement light traffic. City 1+!igineer, H. G. Wray, submitted the Final Estimate for the heavy traffic concrete pavement on Sample Street from west line of Olive Street to west line of N. J. I. & R. R. in accordance with the terms of the contractbetween the City and The Albert Construction Company, contractors under Improvement Resolution No.2144. The Board signed and approved same in the amount of $7,57I.28. City Engineer, H. G. Wray, submitted Partial estima`-e No.I for the pavement of the alley south of Division Street from Scott Street to Chapin Street, in accordance with the terms of the contract between the City and H. N. Barnes Comtractor, under Improvement tesoltion No.2257.. The Board signed and approved same in the amount of 11,442.62. The Board approved the Guarantee Bond of the Albert Construction Companyy-for the avement resurface on Van Buren Street from Cushing Street to Portage Avenue under mprovement Resolution No.2175 in the amount of $I84.96 signed by Inland Bonding Company.
