<br />This being the date set, continued hearing was had on the assess-
<br />ment roll showing the awards of damages and assessments of benefits in the matter of the•
<br />Vacation of a part of 22nd., Street under Vacation Resolution No.22I7.
<br />In the above named assessment roll, the Board decides to continue
<br />hearing until August 6th., I929, at IG:00 A. ?.
<br />The Board approved the exlvatio:d b9nd of Rocco Simeri in the
<br />amount of M000.00 signed by the Fidelity abd asualty ompany of New York.
<br />This being the date set, hearing was had on the improvement
<br />Resolution No.2263 for the pavement of the east t/2 of 20th. , Street from the south line
<br />of lot 80 in Christman Place Addition to the north line of Jefferson Blvd.
<br />In the above named improvement resolution, A' written remonstrance
<br />was filed by George a Harropp but the 3oard, being fully advised in the premises , finds
<br />that the benefits to the several lots and parcels of land liable to be assessed for
<br />said improvement, will be equal to the estimated cost of same as reported by the City
<br />Engineer. Therefore, the Board, decides to over rule the remonstrance and declares
<br />said improvement resolution in all things ratified, confirmed and approved without
<br />modification.
<br />In the above named improvement resolution No.2263, the Board, hereby orders that sealed proposals will be received, opened and read in the Office of
<br />the Board up to 10:00 A. M., of the 20th.; day of'Augast, 1929. The Board further
<br />orders that notices of said proposals shall be .published on the 9t.b. , day of August
<br />and on the I6th. , day of August, I929, in the ''outh Bend Yews Times and Tribune accordin
<br />to law.
<br />City Engineer, H. G. Wray, filed plans and the Board adopted said
<br />plans to6ether with the following vacation resolutions;

<br />Vacation Resolution No.2277 for the Vacation of the alley south of

<br />In both of the above named vacation resolutions, the Board hereby
<br />orders that said Board will meet in their office in the City
<br />j

<br />to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons interested in

<br />what is known as 4,r Road, as ordered by thr County commissioners of St. Joseph County.
<br />Said petition referred to City Engineer for approval.
<br />i The Board approved pay roll claim for vario-s de partments in
<br />;I the amount of $12,048.21.
<br />The Board also approved claims for various departments in the
<br />amount of 9M.2I.
