G, Wray,filed the primary assessment rgll for the local sewer improvement on Fremont 6treet from Hukboldt Street :to Iwood Avenue under Improvement e-so-lution N.o.22I8. In t hq above named assessment roll, the Bcr: rd, hereby, orders that on the ?th.,,, day of #ugast, 1929, this Board will meet in their office in the City Hall at 7-I5 ,P, M., to hear and redeive remonstrances from all persons whose property has been assessed for said improvement and will decide whether the several lots and parcels of land have been or will be benefited in the amount s named on said primary roll' or in a greater or less sum than that named on said roll. The Board further orders that notices of said hearing shall be published on the 26th. , day of July and on - the. 2nd. , day . o f sugus t i929 , in the South Bend News times and tribune according to law. The Board signed the contract With Hoban and Roach for the pavement of the alley north of LaSalle Avenue from Taylor Otreet to Scott Street under Improve- ment Resolution No.2237 in. the amount of I275.25. The Board also approved the construct- Ion bond of same for 50% of the contract price signed by Southern Surety fro. This being the date set, .hearings were had on the following assess- ment rollsf: Assessment roll for the sewer improvement on Olive Street from Lincoln 'gay West to Elwood Avenue under Improvement Resolution No.2I43. Assessment roll for the pavement improvement on Catalpa Avenue from south line Cotter Street to south line S. J. S. B. , and -S. R. R. under Improvement Resolution No. 2f 61. Assessment roll for the pavement improvement oo Miner Street from east line Madison Park Addition to west line of Harriett Street under Improvement Resolution No.2I63. In all of the above named assessment rolls, no remonstrators appeared and_ no written remonstrances were filed .and the Board, being fully advised in the premises, finds that the several lots and parcels of land have been benefited in Ithe amounts named on said assessment rolls. The Board, therefore, decides to take final action on said primary assessment rolls., and declares same in all things ratified:' confirmed and approved without modification and the proceedings closed. The Board now orders said assessment rolls delivered to the Department of Finance. This being the date set, continued -hearing was bad on the assessment roll fot eh grade, curb and walk improvement on 35th., Street under Improvement Resolution No.2I45. In the above named assessment roll, no remonstrators appeared and and written remonstrances having been_ffiled under date of July 9th. , I929, the Board, being fully advised in the premises, dboldep to over rule said remonstrance and finds that the s,everalo lots and parcels of land bave been benefited in the amounts named on.said primary assessment roll. The Board, therefore, decides to take final action on said roll and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved without modification and the proceedings closed.
