ORDINANCE NO <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />INDIANA APPROPRIATING $168,492 WITHIN FUND 212 FROM THE U.S. <br />DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT SHELTER PLUS <br />CARE GRANT PROGRAM <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT <br />In order to deliver services to seriously physically and mentally ill individuals <br />within our community, The City of South Bend received funds from the U. S. <br />Department of Housing and Urban Development for the delivery of such services through <br />various subgrantees. The funds appropriated in this ordinance will aid in defraying the <br />costs of housing and related services. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City <br />of South Bend, Indiana: <br />SECTION 11. The suin of $ 1.68,492 is hereby appropriated in Fund 212 and shall <br />be administered by the Department of Community & Economic Development and its <br />designated subgrantees as noted below: <br />Madison Center IN0010051-1000801 $ 42,336 <br />Madison Center IN0009C51-1000801 $126,156 <br />TOTAL $168,492 <br />SECTION II.
