<br />The Board approved the Plat of Whitcomb and Keller"s Highland View
<br />Addition with the following Dedication:
<br />The attached plat is to be 'know as Whitcomb and Keller's Highland 'view,
<br />an Addition to -the City of Douth Bend; It be described as being a tract of land bounded
<br />as follows
<br />Beginning'at the intersection of the North line -of the Southwest Quarter
<br />of Sectio# 36, Township, 37 Forth, Range 2 Est, and the '%st line of the
<br />Yiehigan Road as located through said Section thence East on the North
<br />line of said Section 23.73 chains to the Nort'Zwest corner of the.Sch6olhouse
<br />Lot; thence South 13 1/3 rods to the Southwest corner of the Schoolhouse
<br />Lot; thence East 3 rods; thence South 153,8 feet; thence West to the
<br />easterly line of said 11richigan Road; thence Northeasterly along the
<br />V_a.sterly side of said i`ichigan Road to the place of beginning, which include
<br />only the North half of Hildebrand Street;
<br />The plat contains fifty-four (54) lots numbered from I to 54 inclusive,
<br />The streets and alleys are hereby dediea- d to the public for public uses. The width
<br />of the streets and dimensions of the lots are marked on the plat in•feet and fractions
<br />thereof.
<br />Easements are hereby reserved for public utilities in anal over the rear
<br />five feet of lots numbe^ed from I to 49 inclusive.
<br />Any permanent resid�:ncer on Lots I, 2, 5,6. 9, I0, I3, 14, I7, 18, 21, and
<br />22 hhall cost not less than I,500.00. However, temporary residences -will be r,er-
<br />missible for occupancy on these ltts and no other lots in the Addition until January
<br />Ist.; 1934, provided they are built on the rear 30 feet of the lots and cost at least
<br />$750.00.
<br />Any residences erected on Lots 3, 4, 7, 8, II, T29 15, I69 I9, 20, 23; 25
<br />269 29, 30, 339 34, 370 38,, 4I9 42, 45 and 46 and 49 shall cost not leas than 12,000.00
