• <br />0 <br />Tuesday, Peuember 4th., 1928. <br />2S17 <br />Board met in regular session at 9 A.. T:'. All members present. Tyr. H. G. <br />Wmay, City 4igineer, absent. R. L.- Pi'ce, Assistant Engineer, present. <br />Yinutes of meetings held November 27th., 1928, read and approved. <br />Upon the recommendation of W. F. Qualls, the Board approved the installation <br />of a 4000 lumen light at the N. Y. C. viaduct can Scott Street until the permanent light <br />are installed. This light will cost the City 3.75 per month as long as it is in <br />service. <br />Upon the recommendations of both H. G. Wray and aim. F. Inalls, the Board <br />approved the installation of a 4000 lumen light, mast arm construction, on the south <br />side of the Grand Trunk tracts at Arnold Street.. The cost to be �45.00 per year. <br />Maims amounting to 3,294.95 were signed and approved by the Board. <br />No petitions having been filed for a type of pavement other than specified <br />in the preliminary order for the pavement of Sample Street from crest line of Olive <br />Street to west property line of N. J. I. & I. R. R., under improvement resolution <br />No.2I44, the Board this 4th., day of December 1928, hereby makes a final arder for <br />heavy traffic concrete pavement and awards the contract for same to the Albert <br />Construction company at their low bid of 7,237.50. <br />Assistant Engineer, R. Z. Pike, filed the preliminary assessment roll for. <br />the Cub -Trunk Sewer on Humboldt Street from Huey Street to Nancy Street under Improve <br />ment Resolution No.2097. <br />In the above named assessment roll, the Board, hereby orders, that on the <br />I9th., day of December 1928, this Board will meet in their office in the City Hall <br />at 7-I5 P. Y., to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property <br />has been assessed for said improvement and will decide whether the several lots and <br />parcels of land have been or will be benefited in the amounts named on said primary <br />assessment roll or in a greater nr less sum than that named on said r..rimary roll. <br />The Board further orders that notices of said hearing shall be 'published on the 7th., <br />day of December and on the I4th., day of December 1928, in the South Bend News Times <br />and Tribune according to law. <br />meeting adjourned at II-30 A.
