<br />.The Board approved Estimate No.2 for labor and material furnished
<br />by the Rieth Riley Construction Company to November Ist., 1928, in connection with
<br />the grading and paving of subways and approaches between Chapin Street and Miami Street
<br />inclusive for the track elevation along the lines of the New York Central Railroad
<br />Company, all in accordance with Resolution 17o.2125 approved March I4th., I928 and
<br />contract dated September 4th. , 1928. Said estima .e No.2 in the amount of 58,382.95
<br />was signed and approved by the Board and the Board hereby orders City Controller to
<br />pay same out of Track -Elevation fund.
<br />The Board approved claims in the amount of I00.42 to be paid
<br />out of track Elevation fund and hereby orders the City Controller to pay same out of
<br />said fund.
<br />The -Board approved claims in the amount of 5,267.09 to be paid
<br />ouf of the Yunicipal Air Port appropriation.
<br />II The Board approved claims -in the amount of I0,363.54 for various
<br />i departments under the .Board of Works,
<br />A petition for the opening p g of Jefferson Street from Taylor Street
<br />to Scott Street was filed with approximately fifty signatures on same. Said petition
<br />referred to Pity Migineer.
<br />City ! gineer, H. G. Wray, filed final estimate for Imrrovement
<br />Resolution No.2062 known as the pavement and Sewer improvement in. Belleville Third
<br />Unit. This estimate being based on the terms of the contract for said work dated
<br />June 6th. , 1928,. by and between the City of --South Bend, Indiana, and the Tlilliston
<br />Construction Company. The Board signed and approved same in the amount of $79,467.12.

<br />Resolution No.2093 known as pavement on the North one half of Ford_StreQt from Iowa
<br />Street to Lake 6treet, authorized by Resolution of the Board of Public Works adopted
<br />on the I3th., day of June 1928. This estimate is based on the terms of"Tthe contract
<br />for said work dated August 29th., 1928 and signed by the Board of ,Public Works on
<br />the part of the City of South Bend and by the Williston Construction Company, as
<br />Contractor. The Board signed and approved same in the -amount of I,552.29. '
