<br />(a). The City shall rrovide and the Contractor shall maintain and operate, subject
<br />!to the conditions hereinafter set forth, the cables, conduits, and other subsurface
<br />equipment and apparatus and the Contractor shall provide, maintain and operate
<br />standards, lamps, refractors and all other equipment and apparatus, all constituting
<br />a street lighting system on Chapin Street from Washingto Arenue to TMonroe Street in
<br />:;the City of South Bend, Indiana, consisting of 36 street lamps supplied through said
<br />lunderground system from the electrical 'circuits of the Contractos, such lamps shall
<br />be as follows:
<br />136 - 13 R±xxrfoot Riverside Standards complete with Egyptian Senior Lighting Units
<br />,land 1.`ongul multiple sockets and each equipped with I-5000 lumen lighting lamp. The
<br />,;burning hours of said lamps shall be as follows:
<br />Twenty four (24) h,.said lamps shall be 'turned from one half hour after
<br />sunset until one half hour after sunrise, every night and all night, burning approx-
<br />imately four thousand (4000) hours per annum. Twelve (I2) of said lamps shall be
<br />burned from one half hour after sunset each and every night until midnight only.
<br />43.00 per unit per annum.. .
<br />(b) The City shall provide and the Contractor shall maintain and operate, subject
<br />to the conditiions hereinafter set firth, the cables, conduits and other subsurface
<br />:.,equipment and apparatus and the contractor shall provide, maintain and operate
<br />;standards, lamps, trfractors.and all other equipment and a ratus, all constituting
<br />,a street lighting system on Viami Street from Lincoln 4ay Oast to Ewing Avenue in
<br />,the City of South Bend, Indiana, consisting of forty-one (41) street lamps.supplied
<br />through said underground system from the electrical circuits of the Contractor, such
<br />,lamps shall be as follows:
<br />28- 12 foot Sheridan Hollow spun, concrete lighting standards complete with
<br />;Octagonal Junior Lighting Tops with Spikes and medium Vogul sockets, each equipped
<br />with I-I00061 lumen street lighting lamp.
<br />$32.50 per unit per annum.
<br />I3-12 foot Sheridan hollow spun, concrete lighting standards complete with
<br />.Octagonal Junior Lighting tops with Spikes and Medium Vogul sockets, each equipped
<br />with 1-2500 lumen street lighting lamp.
<br />37.50 per unit per annum.
<br />Said forty one lamps on Y jami Street herein provided for shall be burned
<br />,from one half hour after sunset until one hald hour before sunrise, every and all
<br />`'night, burning approximately four thousand (4000) hours per annum.
<br />'(a) The City shall provide and the Contractor shall maintain and operate, subject
<br />.to, conditions hereinafter set forth, the cables, conduits and other subsurface
<br />equipment and apparatus, and the Contractor shall provide, maintain and operate
<br />:standards, lamps, refractors and all other equipment and apparatus, all coristituing
<br />a street lighting system on Angella Avenue from Leeper Avenue to Notre Dame Avenue,
<br />yin the City of South Bend, Indiana, consisting of twenty nine street lamps supplied
<br />!through said underground system from the electrical circuits of the contractor,
<br />;such lamps shall be as follows:
<br />29-10 foot Sheridan, Hollow spun, concrete lighting standards with Octagonal
<br />Junior tops, each equipped with 1-I000 lumen lamp.
<br />32.50 per unit per annum.
<br />Said twenty nine lamps on Angella Avenue herein provided for shall be burned
<br />from one half hour after sunset until one half hour before sunrise,.every night and all
<br />night, burning approximately four thousand (4000) hours per annum.
<br />1'(d) The Contractor shall provide, maintain andoperatea street lighting system on
<br />,,College Street from Elwood Avenue to Keller Street in the City of South Bend, Indiana,
<br />consisting of seven (7) street lamps supplied from an underground distribution
<br />system of the contractor, such underground lamps shall be as foil ozras:
<br />7- Park View Poles with Octagonal Junior Lighting Tops, each equipped with
<br />1-I000 lumen Lamp, said seven (7') underground lamps herein provided for shall be
<br />burned from one half hour after sunset until one half hour before sunrise every night
<br />and all night, burning approximately four thousand (4000) hours per annum.
<br />130.00 per unit per annum.
<br />As apart of the consideration to the Contractor for the services to be furnish
<br />ed hereunder it, the City a gress that the Contractor shall have the exclusive use and
<br />Qontrol of the cables, conduits, bases and any and all other equipment and apparatus
<br />to be furnished and installed by the City on Chapin Streets Iiami Street and Angella
