164 ednesday, July 28th. I928. <br />Partial Estimate No.I for the pavement Improvement on Clyde Street <br />from Indiana Avenue to D bail Avenue ln accordance with the terms of the contract <br />between the CitSr and the Reith Riley Construction Company, under Improvement Resolution <br />No.2993. The Board signed and approved same in the amount of 1,303.65. <br />This being the date set, hearings were had on the following assess - <br />went rolls; <br />Assessment roll for the sewer 'in 'wing Avenue from Leer. Street to <br />Ernsperger �'treet under Improvement Resolution No.I9I4. <br />Assessment roll for the sewer improvement in Eckman 1treet between <br />west line of Lindenbergh Park and Miami Street under Improvement Resolution No.I973. <br />Assessment roll for the sewer improvement in ?fain Street from 2nd. , <br />alley north of Farneman Street to alley south of Dean Avenue under Improvement <br />Resolution Tuo.1878. <br />In all of the above named assessment rolls, n.o .remonstrators appear, <br />ed and no written remonstrance was filed and the Board, being :Da.11y advised in the <br />premises, finds that the several lots and parcels of land primmarily assessed for said <br />improvements have been benefited in the amounts shown on said assessment rolls. The <br />Board, therefore, decides to take final action on said assessment rolls and declares <br />same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved without modification and the pro- <br />zeedings closed. The Board now orders said assessment rolls delivered to the Department <br />of Finance. <br />went rolls: <br />This being the date set, hearings were had on the following assess <br />Assessment roll for the pavement of Chapin Street from Indiana Ave- <br />nue to Calvert street under Improvement Resolution No.I97I. <br />Assessment roll for the pavement of 34orothy atreet from south line <br />concrete pavement on Prairie Avenue to Ewing Avenue under Improvement Resolution No.2012. <br />Assessment roll for the pavement on Miner Street from Notre Dame <br />Avenue to Eddy Street under Improvement Resolution No.I947. <br />Assessment roll for the pavement on Twenty-third Street from <br />Mishawaka Avenue to a point 45 ft south of the center line of Kerslake Court projected !. <br />under Improvement resolution No.I949. <br />Assessment roll for the ravement on `!wenty-first street from Jeffer <br />son Blvd., to 'dilson Street under Improvement Resolution No.2056. <br />In all of the above named assessment rolls, no remonstrators <br />appea ed and no written remonstrances were filed and the Board, being fully advised in <br />the premises, finds that the several lots and parcekAis of land primarily assessed for <br />said improvements have been benefited in the amounts shown on said assessments rolls. <br />The Board, therefore, decides to take final action on said assessment rolls and declares <br />same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved and the proceedings closed. The <br />Board now orders said assessment rolls delivered to the Department of Finance. <br />The Board approved the contract with the 1'onroe Calculating Machine <br />Company for the maintenance of the machine in the office of the City Controller. <br />This being the date set, hearing was 'pad on assessment roll for <br />the pavement on Lafayette Blvd., from Calvert street to Ewing.Avenue uhder Improvement <br />Resolution No. I988. <br />In the above Tamed assessment roll, otrrners of lots 2 to 7 inclusive <br />Southlawn Addition, remonstratedeagainst the assessments for water connections as <br />shown on primary assessment roll. Upon investigation, the.Board finds that these <br />water connection charges should have been against lots 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 in Orchard <br />Lawn Addition and the Boardhereby orders the City -engineer to make th&se corrections. <br />on the -primary assessment roll. 2bxxk iKA W x k trxjxkzx2±xxkxa xxxxx <br />xxxmx±xKx±xd1ffx$ xxxxxxxxxx=x '' <br />After hearing all persons interested in said assessment roll and being fully advised <br />in the premises, the Board finds that the several lots and parcels of land have been <br />benefited in the amounts shown on said corrected roll and therefore, takes fiani action!' <br />on said corrected roll and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved; <br />as corrected and the proceedings closed. The Board. now orders said assessment roll <br />delivered to the department of Finance. <br />This being the date set, hearing was had on the assessment roll <br />for the pavement on Stanfield Street from north line of Howard Street to the north line <br />of St. Vincent Street under Improvement Resolution No.I995. <br />In the above named assessment roll, remonstrators appeared but no11 <br />written remonstrance was filed and the Board, being fully advised in the premises, finds <br />that the several lots and parcels of land have been benefited in the amounts shown on <br />said primary assessment roll. The Board, therefore, takes final action on said j <br />assessment roll and declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved and <br />the procee _ings closed.
