<br />Upon the advise of City Attorney, I. S. Romig, the Board
<br />signed the following releases:
<br />-it the request of Kuehn -Jordan company and the American
<br />Surety Co., of New fork, the Board of Public 71orks of the ity of South Bend, Indiana
<br />hereby releases nd discharges the said Kuehn Jordan Company, principal, and the
<br />American Surety o', -Surety, from further liability on that certain bond of I,000.00
<br />dated I-Cay 20th. , I916.
<br />It is understood au;d agreed that this instrument does not
<br />release or discharge said principal and said surety from any liability assumed under
<br />said bond, incurred prior to the date hereof or any liability arising out of or from
<br />any acts performed prior to the release hereof.
