<br />Bids having been received for the construction of a local sewer in
<br />King Street -under Improvement Resolution No.2047, the Board this I6th. , day of MW , 1928
<br />hereby awards the contract for said improvement to Edward Di Julio at his low bid of
<br />85 7,10 .
<br />Bids having been received for the construction of a local sewer in �;deen
<br />Street under Improvement Resolution-No.2048, the Board this I.6th. , day of May,. 5928,
<br />hereby awards the contract for said improvement to Alward DiJulio at his low bid of
<br />527.00.
<br />Bids having been received for the construction of pavement on Sample Stre
<br />under Improvement Resolution No.2037, the Board this I6th. , day of May, 1928, hereby
<br />makes a preliminary order for concrete pavement light traffic as the type of pavement
<br />with which said street shall be improved and sets the 29 th. , day of May, I928, as the
<br />time when said Board shall either pass on petitions for a change in the type of pavement
<br />other than that specified in the preliminary order, award the contract or- reject all
<br />bids.
<br />. This being the date set, hearing yeas had on the assessment roll for the
<br />local sewer improvement on the alley south of G$mpeau Street from Prances Street to
<br />center line of Lot 5 in Turnock and Hartman's Sub. , under Improvement Resolution No.I96I
<br />In the -above named assessment roll, no remonstrators appeared and no
<br />• written remonstrance was filed and -the Board, being fully advised in the premises finds
<br />that the several lots and parcels of land have been benefited in the amounts named on
<br />said assessment roll. The Board, therefore, takes dinal action on said assessment roll
<br />and declares same in all things, ratified, confirmed and approved and the proceedings
<br />closed. The Board now orders said assessment roll delivered to the Department of
<br />Finance.
<br />This being the date set, hearing vaas had on the assessment roll for the
<br />grading improvement of the alley west of Wilber Street from Istl, alley north of H-ambolt
<br />to Elwood Avenue unu.er Improvement Resolution No.I960. In the aboire named assessment
<br />roll, the Board finds that a contract was entered into for the improvement of that part
<br />of the alley which was eliminated in the modified resolution and therefore, declares
<br />• said assessment roll filed May Ist. , 1928, null and void and all action taken on said
<br />assessment roll null and void.
<br />The Board signed the contract with Williston Construction Compan for
<br />the pavement, widening and lighting system on Chapin Street from south line of'Washing-
<br />ton Avenue to the south line of Monroe Street running west from Chapin 'treat under
<br />Improvement Resolution No.20II, in the amount of 52,072.76. The Board also approved
<br />the construction bond of same for 50% of the contract price signed by the Inland Bonding
<br />Company.
<br />City aigine er, H. G. dray, filed plans and the Board adopted a resolution
<br />for the establishing of set back lines on Division 'Itreet, from the west line Taylor
<br />Street to the east line of Olive Street under Set back or Condemnation Resolution No.206
<br />In the above named resolution No.2066, the Board hereby orders that on
<br />the 20th., day of June, 1928, this Board will meet in their office in the City Hall at
<br />7-I5 P. M., to hear and receive remonstrances from all persons whose property may be
