<br />Minutes of meetings held gay Ist. , and May 2nd. , I928, read and approv
<br />ad.
<br />This being the date set, hearings were had on the following Vacation
<br />Resolutions:
<br />Vacation resolution No.2052 for the vacation of the alley along the
<br />northerl right of way line of the New York Central ita lboad from the south'line of
<br />Bronson �'treet tip the crest line of Carroll Street. (See files for resolution. )
<br />Vacation resolution No.2050 for the vacation of a portion of Carroll
<br />-Street, along the New. York Central Railroad right of way. (See files for resolution.)
<br />Vacation Resolution �Vo.205I for the Vacation of a portion of the
<br />alley west of Carrol Stbreet. (See files for resolution. )
<br />Vacation resolution No.2049 for the Vacation of the, alley south of
<br />Wayhe Street from the east line of Harriett Street to the west line of Greenlawn
<br />Avenue.u(See files for resolution.)
<br />In all of the above named vacation resolutions, no remonstrators
<br />appeared and no written remonstrance was filed and the Board being fully advised in
<br />the premises, decides to take final action on said vacation resolutions, and declares
<br />same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved and the alleys and portions of
<br />streets vacated.
<br />the Board now orders that lists or rolls be prepared of all owners
<br />and holders of property and of valuable interests therein sough to be taken or to be
<br />injuriously affected, which list or rolls shall also describe the property beneficially
<br />affected.
<br />The Board signed the contract with alex Bukowski for the pavement
<br />of the alley north of Beashway street from `It. Joseph Street to bloster Otreet under
<br />Improvement resolution 1io.2002, 'the amount of the contract being 883.30 'and the con-
<br />struction bond for 100% of the contaact price, signe- by the United States "idelity
<br />and Guaranty "ompany was also approved.
<br />The Board signed the contract with E. T. Tranberg for the pavement
<br />of the alley west of Cottage Grove ivenue from Fuergringer street to the alley north
<br />of Fuerbringer Street under Improvement Resolution Tdo.I990, the amount of the contract
<br />being 838.12 and the construction bond for 50o of the contract price, signed by the
<br />-�,rlployers Liability Rssurance "o., was also approved.
<br />the 3oard signed the contradt with dhitcomb and Keller for the walk
<br />and curb improvement on the -L orth side of 1r ishawaka 'venue from west line of Lot 500
<br />"hitcomb and fellers 3rd., Sunnymede Addition to a point 29 ft., east of the west line
<br />of Lot 506 in said Addition under Improvement resolution _1To.2053, the amount of the
<br />contract being 853.00 and the construction bond for' I00 % of the contract price, signed
<br />by "mployers Liability Assurance �;o., was also approved.
<br />The Board of appraisors, appointed by the Board under date of �'pril
<br />24th., i928, in the matter of the opening and extension of 22nd.1 �Itreet from Jefferson
<br />Blvd., to the Wit. Joseph diver under condemnation Resol-.tion Iio.2038, filed their report
<br />together with the primary assessment roll for said "ondemnation. This report shows
<br />a total amount of benefits of $3I,623.79. This list includes the names of the owners_
<br />and holders of property and its interests therein, sought to be ta;=en or to be nenefie
<br />ially of injuriously affected, and the description of the several pieces of property
<br />which are affected by said proceedings.
<br />Thereupon, the 3oard proceeded to award the damagessustained and
<br />to assess the benefits accruing to each piece of property upon said list.
<br />It was thereupon, upon motion duly ;Wade and seconded and unamiously
<br />adopted, resolved that said list, together with the ar_.ounts of benefits and damages
<br />and net benefits and net damages therein set forth as to the several pieces of land

<br />be adopted and that the respective amount of benefits contained in said list be and
<br />are hereby assessed against the several tracts of land as spec-ficially set forth
<br />iA. said list and that the respective amounts of damages containers in the said list
<br />be and are hereby awarded to the several tracts of land as speddificially set forth in
<br />said li t, and that net benefits or net damages, as the case may be as to respective
<br />tracts t44►u. contained in said list are hereby awarded or assessed, as the case may
<br />be as to the said several bracts of land.
<br />the Beard gereby further sets off the benetis and damages, each
<br />against the other where both benefits and damages are assesed, against the same piece
<br />of property,tract of land or interests. and hereby fixes the said respective net
<br />benefits as the ampunt that shall be paid by the respective owners as benefits, and
<br />further hereby fixes the respective net damages as to the several tracts as the
<br />amount that shall be paid to the owners of the respective tracts as damages.
<br />Thereupon, upon motion duly made and seconded and unanimously
<br />adopted the 27th. , day of June 1928 it 7- 15 P. TT., was fixed as the day on which this
<br />Board will hear and receive remonstrances from persons whosepro'perty has been affected
<br />by said condemnation and the Clerk is hereby instructed to cause tp be duly and legally
<br />given, notices to the owners of each parcel of )ropetty, showing the amount of the
