Tuesday, Ifarch 27th. 1928. Board met in regular session at 9 A. Icy. _.11 members present. Minutes of meeting held Yarch 20th., I9289 read and approved. The Board signed the contract with the Snyder Construction Co:, for the pavement o f the Ist. , alley wes t of Park Avenue from Riverside Drive t o Ist. , alley south under Improvement Resolution No.I988. The amount of the contract being 492.30. The Board also approved the bond for .same signed by the Standard Accident Insurance 00. The Board signed the contract with the Snyder Oonstruction Co., for the pavement of the first alley south of Riverside Drive from orest Avenue to Park Avenue under Improvement Resolution No.I967. The amount of the contract being 715,50. The Board also approved the bond for same signed by the Standard Accident Insurance Co. ,w The Board signed the contract with Reith Riley - Construction CO., for the pavement of streets in Morris Park Addition ! No.I98I. The amount of the contract being I6,I00�9under Improvement Resolution 2. The Board also approved the bond for same signed by the Southern �irety Co.: for 08,600.00. The Board signed the contract :-,rith E. T. Tranberg for the gradi of the alley west of Wilber Street from first alley north of Numbolt Street to Elwood . Avenue under Improvement Resolution I?o.I960. The amount of the contract being 72.00: The Board approved the contractors bond of John Wachowiak, signed by George J. Zmudsniski and Wadech Nazmierszak as personal surkties. The Board approved the bond of the Western Union Telegraph Company for work in the streets in the City of South Bend, Indiana. B-n.C). signed by the American surety f'OmPany of New York. Upon the recommendation of Wm. F. Qualls, the Board approved the following lights: 1000 lumen light located on William 6treet between Marian and Navarre atreet moved to 621 Portage avenue to tape care of a very dark situation at this point. No additional cost to the City. 4000 lumen light no located on south Michigan 16t-r-eet at the alley between Alt Street and Victoria Street moved to corner of Michigan and. Victoria which is one half block south. 1000 lumen light installed at the south west corner of Michigan Street and West Victoria Street, at a cost of 22.00 per year.
