• 0 • �7_ 0 • NOTICE OF HEARING SPECIAL BENEFITS ON PAVEMENT IMPROVEMENT I 1 i Notice is hereby given that the following pavement improvement has been completed and the general character; Hof the improvement, the street, alley or public place on which it has been made, and the terminal points ithereof, are as follows: Class "C" Type 1 (6" Concrete) Pavement on Lake Street from the north prpperty line of Jefferson Blvd. to the south property line of Washington Avenue. There is on file in the Office of the City Controller of the City of South Bend, Indiana, an assessment roll with the names of the owners and description of property subject to be assessed with the amount of the prima facia assessment, and can be seen in the Office of said City Controller. The Board of Public Works and Safety of said City, at the Office of the Board in said City, will on the 5th day of August, 19579 at 10:00 A.M. (DST) receive and hear remonstrances against the amounts assessed agains their property respectively, on said roll and will determine the question as to whether such lots or tracts of land have been or will be benefited by said improvement to the amounts named on said roll, or is greater or less than that named on said roll or in any sum. Sabo, Clerk RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINAL ASSESSMENT ROLL After hearing all persons interested who appeared and the Clerk of the Board of Public Works and Safety having been found sufficient, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that the Primar or Preliminary Assessment Roll adopted by the Board on the 8th day of July, 1957, for the improvement of Oa crest Drive from 35th Street to Sylvan Glen and Sylvan Glen from Oakcrest Drive to McKinley Avenue, be and the same is in all things confirmed. %ttest: Anthony J. Bruggner 1 petition was received asking for the improvement of West Washington Street from Falcon Street to Kenmore street by the construction of curbing and pavement according to the Barrett Law program. Petition referred o the City Engineering Department. A letter was received from the City Planning Commission favorably recommending the vacation of part of the ;;first north -south alley (140) feet, west of Ironwood Drive, north of Oak Park Drive. :,Petition is now re- +ferred to the City Engineering Department for preparation of a vacation Resolution. '.There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was adjourned at 10:34 M. (DST).
