• <br />0 <br />• <br />�7_ <br />0 <br />• <br />NOTICE OF HEARING SPECIAL BENEFITS ON PAVEMENT IMPROVEMENT I <br />1 <br />i <br />Notice is hereby given that the following pavement improvement has been completed and the general character; <br />Hof the improvement, the street, alley or public place on which it has been made, and the terminal points <br />ithereof, are as follows: <br />Class "C" Type 1 (6" Concrete) Pavement on Lake Street from the <br />north prpperty line of Jefferson Blvd. to the south property line <br />of Washington Avenue. <br />There is on file in the Office of the City Controller of the City of South Bend, Indiana, an assessment <br />roll with the names of the owners and description of property subject to be assessed with the amount of <br />the prima facia assessment, and can be seen in the Office of said City Controller. <br />The Board of Public Works and Safety of said City, at the Office of the Board in said City, will on the 5th <br />day of August, 19579 at 10:00 A.M. (DST) receive and hear remonstrances against the amounts assessed agains <br />their property respectively, on said roll and will determine the question as to whether such lots or tracts <br />of land have been or will be benefited by said improvement to the amounts named on said roll, or is greater <br />or less than that named on said roll or in any sum. Sabo, Clerk <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINAL ASSESSMENT ROLL <br />After hearing all persons interested who appeared and the Clerk of the Board of Public Works and Safety <br />having been found sufficient, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that the Primar <br />or Preliminary Assessment Roll adopted by the Board on the 8th day of July, 1957, for the improvement of Oa <br />crest Drive from 35th Street to Sylvan Glen and Sylvan Glen from Oakcrest Drive to McKinley Avenue, be and <br />the same is in all things confirmed. <br />%ttest: Anthony J. Bruggner <br />1 petition was received asking for the improvement of West Washington Street from Falcon Street to Kenmore <br />street by the construction of curbing and pavement according to the Barrett Law program. Petition referred <br />o the City Engineering Department. <br />A letter was received from the City Planning Commission favorably recommending the vacation of part of the <br />;;first north -south alley (140) feet, west of Ironwood Drive, north of Oak Park Drive. :,Petition is now re- <br />+ferred to the City Engineering Department for preparation of a vacation Resolution. <br />'.There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was adjourned at 10:34 M. (DST). <br />
