League on June 29, 1957. <br />Permission granted. <br />A letter is hereby directed to the South Shore Company regarding relocation of the traffic signals at the <br />intersection of Orange and Olive Streets. <br />AtAthe regular meeting of the Council on June 10, 1957 Councilman Glass requested that an investigation be <br />made of wreckers and other vehicles which are using moving dome flashers on our streets. Mr. Glass stated <br />that these flashers should be used only by emergency vehicles. Matter referred to Inspector Hazinski for <br />further investigation. <br />Councilman Kroll made a motion, seconded by Councilman Muszynski, that the Board of Public Works and Safety; <br />direct enforcement of the existing Ordinance regarding truck traffic on Olive Street. Matter taken under <br />advisement. <br />An AGREEMENT made and entered into this 17th day of June, 19579 by and between the CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />INDIANA, acting by and through its Board of Public Works and Safety, and CLYDE E. WILLIAMS & ASSOCIATES, <br />INC. of South Bend and Indianapolis, Indiana for the improvement of HYDRAULIC AVENUE FROM THE WEST LINE OF <br />LOT 142 MILLER AND GREENE'S SECOND ADDITION, TO MADISON STREET AND MADISON STREET FROM HYDRAULIC AVENUE TO <br />340 FEET WEST OF NILES AVENUE is hereby approved by the Board. <br />The Council referred to the Board the request of Mrs. Rudie White with reference to the installation of a <br />sewer on Falcon Street between Western Avenue and Jefferson. Bruggner <br />CERTIFICATE OF CONTRACT AND WORK COMPLETED <br />The Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend, Indiana hereby certifies as follows: <br />That there is a contract, dated March 25, 1957 by and between the City of South Bend, Indiana <br />and Cecil E. Dale d/b/a Osceola Crane Service for the construction by said Osceola Crane Service <br />of a local sewer on Campau Street from 185 feet West of acob Street East to Jacob Street. <br />That said Cecil E. Dale d/b/a Osceola Crane Service has completed the construction of said <br />improvement according to the terms of said contract and that the final amount of said contract <br />is $1,276.50. That said Contractors will be entitled to receive the total amount of $1376.50 <br />in cash, from the City of South Bend, Indiana, in the manner provided by law. <br />
