The erection of any outmoded metho
of electrical lighting facilities would greatly reduce the value of the real estate and would create a
hazard to occupants in the vicinity. The undersigned of petition would have no objection to electrical
lighting facilities and in fact would welcome the facilities if they were of the modern construction of
boulevard stone posts and underground wiring. Judge I
recommends that the police department revert to the policy of 15 years standing. Board now informs the
Judge that immediate investigation would begin to work out a solution on said matter. Next appeated
David Matthews, Deputy Prosecutor who handles City Court cases. Mr. Matthews states that the whole prob-;I
lem could be solved by a little Christian charity. To acquire -,this, all parties must yield which means
they cannot all stand on their legal rights. He further describes that if the court officer would draw
the list of witnesses it would solve the problem. After further discussion with reference to same the
Board also informs Mr. ,Matthews that an answer to the soluttion is pending subject to further investigation
by the Board. Matter will again be taken up at a later date. j
A petition was received asking for the improvement of Sancome Avenue from LaPorte Avenue to Lincoln Way
West by the construction of blackto pp• in
g Referred to the City Engineering Department for investigation.;.
