52 March 25, 1957 it A special meeting of the Board of Public Works & Safety was held on Monday, March 25, 1957 at 2:00 P..M.(CS4). All members were present. The purpose of this meeting was in regards to the Logan Street improvement. Also present at this meeting was the Board of Public Works & Safety of the City of Mishawaka, Indiana. IIt was agreed that inasmuch as Logan Street, one-half (2) of said street being within the confines of the 'City of South Bend and one-half (2) of said street being within the confines of the City of Mishawaka and ;further said street being the section line road and also an arterial road, that each City assume one-half( .the responsibility for the improvement of said street. ..The City Engineer of the City of South Bend is directed to coordinate with the Engineering Department of City of Mishawaka for the purpose of making specifications for said improvement. There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was adjourned at '_2:35 P.M. (CST). April 1, 1957 A regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was held on Monday, April 11 1957 at 10:00 A.M. (CST). All members were present. Minutes of the previous regular meeting were read: -and approved. Salary claims in t total amount of $7,385.47 were approved.
