Tessellate and Xibitz are excited to submit this proposal for the creation of an experiential vehicle for
the Department of Venues Parks 6 Art in South Bend, Indiana. We excel at crafting engaging
environments that educate and engage a broad audience. By combining our strengths in
experiential design, development, and fabrication, we will create an amazing mobile experience that
will inspire, excite, and inform residents of and visitors to South Bend.
Our collective team is comprised of highly skilled and deeply caring individuals who apply their
respective talents to accomplish high -quality, award -winning experiences. We are a full turnkey
operation, completing work from concept design through fabrication and installation.
Our expertise includes:
• Experiential Design
• Physical Design
• interactive Design
• Technology Design 6 Best Practices
• Visual Design 6 Branding
• Narrative Design 6 Content Development
• Fabrication
0 Prototyping and QA
0 Installation
our team considers every aspect of the design as it relates to visitor experience, feasibility,
operations, maintainability and long term success.
Should we be awarded this project, we will provide straightforward communication, a single point of
contact and a consistent, skilled, cross -functioning team experienced in creating outstanding
designs. We have the experience to develop creative, durable solutions that will withstand daily use
for years to come.
Lastly, we are very excited about this initiative because we understand that mobile and travelling
experiences have the advantage of reaching areas and neighborhoods that traditional built
environments cannot. We learned this working on BioBus and the Children's Food Lab -truck, two,
experiential vehicle projects we designed. Very different from a museum or -traditional venue, vehicles
can provide services and hands-on, in -person experiences for those who would most benefit.
Experiential vehicles have the potential to bridge cultural and educational barriers, and we would be
-thrilled to be part of this initiative.
We are very passionate about the goals of this project, and look forward to partnering with the VPA
to bring this experience to life!
Joe Karadin
Co-founder, Physical Design
Tessellate Studio
V EXPEMENCES
TES5ELLM, X b i tZ BUIILT
