TYPE <br />General: <br />Construction: <br />DESCRIPTION <br />Grease hoses shall be SAE107 Hytron hose rated at 3000 psi <br />maximum work pressure. <br />Grease line kit will incorporate all 19 grease points on the scraper. <br />Drawings and pictures shall be included in the bid package <br />showing the grease line kit (failure to provide drawings and <br />pictures will disqualify your bid). <br />Moldboard shall have replaceable blade and end bits <br />Mounting Brackets: The hanger brackets shall be 1"x 4" solid bar <br />stock. <br />Underbody shall be powder coated paint black and orange. <br />All hardware and fasteners shall be electronically platedd and <br />corrosion resistant. <br />Manufacturer shall provide caution labels, decals and any warnings <br />deemed necessary. <br />Specifications for Snow Plow Quick Hitch Lame <br />SHALL BE <br />AS <br />SPEERIFIED <br />(Circle One) <br />Snow plow quick hitch shall be heavy duty type to be used for street and/or <br />highway snow plowing by heavy duty trucks. Hitch shall be designed to permit <br />adequate lift and full radius swing of hydraulic controlled power reversing snow <br />plows. <br />Truck Half- Type: (Hosting Type) Snowplow hitch shall be an automatic snap <br />coupling type. 34" wide equipped with 3" diameter by 10" nitrated double acting <br />stroke hydraulic lift cylinder. Hitch shall be tapered on the back side to allow better <br />chassis hood clearance. Automatic locking shall be accomplished by dual cam <br />actuated spring loaded tapered rollers. A lever shall be provided for retraction of <br />locking rollers. <br />Hitch shall be tapered on the truck side as to allow better clearance for chassis hood <br />clearance. There shall also be a rubber stop installed on truck side of the hitch as to <br />prevent the chassis hood from contacting the plow hitch, <br />28 <br />
