CLAIMS REVIEW MEETING DECEMBER 5, 2017 375 A Claims Review Meeting of the Board of Public Works was convened at 9:02 a.m. on Tuesday, December 5, 2017, by Board Member Elizabeth Maradik, with Board Members James Mueller and Therese Dorau present. Board President Gary Gilot and Board Member Suzanna Fritzberg were absent. The meeting was held in the 131h Floor Boardroom, County -City Building, 227 W. Jefferson Blvd., South Bend, Indiana. APPROVE CLAIMS Ms. Dorau stated that a request to pay claims has been received by the Board; each claim is fully supported by an invoice; the person receiving the goods or services has approved the claims; and the claims have been filed with the City Fiscal Officer and certified for accuracy. Ms. Dorau stated the following claims were submitted to the board for approval: Name Amount of Claim Date City of South Bend J $9,564,004.82 11/30/2017 City of South Bend $3,450.79 12/04/2017 City of South Bend $1,886,260.71 12/05/2017 City of South Bend $5,614,592.92 12/01/2017 U.S. Bancorp and U.S. Bank National Association; Requisition No. 16; Vermeer Lease $546,090.38 11/30/2017 U.S. Bancorp/U.S. Bank National Assoc.; Requisition No. 3; Police Vehicle Equipment Lease $25,537 12/05/2017 Therefore, Mr. Mueller made a motion that after review of the expenditures, the claims be approved as submitted. Ms. Dorau seconded the motion, which carried. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business to come before the Board, Ms. Maradik made a motion that the meeting be adjourned at 9:04 a.m. Ms. Dorau seconded the motion, which carried.
