Notice inviting sealed bids for Construction of a Local; 'Combined Sanitary and Storm Sewer Extension in Huron Street for the City of South Bend, Indiana. 2. Board Approves Final Plans and Specifications 3. Improvement Resolution 4. and Preliminary Plans Reported. IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION NO. 2844 The following was filed with the Board: 1. Entry of Petition Presented 2. Petition Referred to Engineer 3. Order to Engineer For Prelinimary Plans 4. City Civil Engineer's Recommendation. VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 2840 This being the date set, hearing was held on the resolution heretofore adopted by the Board of Public ;Works & Safety for the vacation of THE FIRST ALLEY NORTH OF ELWOOD AVENUE FROM ILLINOIS STREET TO CHICAGO !STREET, under Vacation Resolution No. 2840. The Clerk of the Board having shown sufficient proofs of publication and no remonstrators having ap- jpeared before the Board and no written remonstrances having been filed with the Clerk, it was moved, second-. ed and unanimously carried that the said Resolution be finally adopted and the said alley be vacated. The Engineering Department is directed to prepare an assessment roll covering the assessment of bene ,fits and the award of damages to the surrounding properties. Andrysiak, City Engineer, filed primary assessment roll showing the awards of damages and asses: ment of benefits in the matter of the vacation of THE FIRST ALLEY NORTH OF ELWOOD AVENUE FROM ILLINOIS STREET TO CHICAGO STREET, under Resolution No. 2840. In the above named assessment roll, the Board hereby orders that it will meetin the City Hall at 10 •( A.M. (DST) on the 4th day of September, 1956 for the purpose of hering and receiving remonstrances from all ,persons interested in or affected by said vacation and the Board further orders that notice of said hearing together with the amount of damages awarded and benefits assessed be addressed to the property owners by pub± lishing same on the loth day of August, 17th day of August, and on'the 24th day of August, 1956 in the South" :Bend Tribune and The Record.
