The Board hereby requests that Mr. Freepan reappear before <br />the Board on Monday, June 11 with reference to same. <br />The hearings scheduled for today with reference to defective buildings at 677 LaPorte Avenue owned <br />by David W. Scruggs, and at 1217 South Bend Avenue owned by Sandy Thomas will be continued until next <br />Monday, June 11 at the request of the Building Commissioner. <br />The hearing scheduled for today with reference to remonstrance submitted to the Board by Frank and <br />Mary Ea sol, 2502 Roger Street against the issuance of a moving permit in Kaley's Third Addition will be <br />continu d until Monday, June 11, 1956. <br />VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 2831 <br />T is being the date set, hearing was held on the resolution heretofore adopted by the Board of Publi <br />Works & Safety for the vacation of the FIRST NORTH AND SOUTH ALLEY WEST OF MEADE STREET, FROM BONDS AVENUE <br />SOUTH T THE NORTH LINE OF THE EAST AND WEST ALLEY SOUTH OF BONDS AVENUE. <br />T e Clerk of the Board having shown sufficient proofs of publication and no remonstrators having ap- <br />peared and no written remonstrances having been filed with the Clerk, it was moved, seconded and unanimous <br />ly carried that the said resolution be finally adopted and said alley be vacated. <br />T e Engineering Department is directed to prepare an assessment roll covering the assessment of bene <br />fits ano the award of damages to the surrounding properties. <br />R. Andrysiak, City Engineer, filed primary assessment roll showing the awards of damages and the <br />assessment of benefits in the matter of the vacation of the FIRST NORTH AND SOUTH ALLEY WEST OF MEADE STR <br />FROM BONDS AVENUE SOUTH TO THE NORTH LINE OF THE EAST AND WEST ALLEY SOUTH OF BONDS AVENUE, under Resolu- <br />tion No. 2831. <br />Ir the above named assessment roll, the Board hereby orders that it will meet .in the City Hall at <br />10:00 A.M.
