S. Army appeared before the Board with ref- erence to request permission to operate a sound truck in the vicinity of the five high schools (John Adams, Washington, Riley, Central, and St. Joseph) between the period of May 15 to May 30, 1956 starting at 3:15 P.1W. (DST). Permission granted in conformance with Chapter 18, Section 13 of the City Code. • The time now being 10:00 A.M. (DST) it was so announced and the bids for the Im movement Resolution No. 2831 for the Twenty -Ninth Street Improvement were opened. Proofa of publication in the South Bend Tribune on the 20th and 27th days of April, 1956 with an, affidavit signed by C. G. Livengood and in the Record on the 20th and 27th days of April,`; with an affidavit signed by W. DeC anio was submitted to the Board. The Bids received read as follows: A. E.
