Andrysiak, City Engineer, filed primary assessment roll showing the awards ofi damages and assessment of benefits in the matter of the vacation of the alley Northwest of Parkovash Avenue from Marquette Avenue to the Northeasterly line of the alley West of 'f Marquette Avenue and from the Northeasterly line of the alley West of Marquette Avenue to! the North Shore Drive, under Resolution No. 2830. In the above named assessment roll, the Board hereby orders that it will meet_in th City Hall at 10:QO A.M. (DST) or 9:00 A.M. (CST) on the16th day of April, 1956, for the purpose of hearing and receiving remonstrances.from all persons interested in or affected; by said vacation, and the Board further orders that notice of said hearing, together with' the amount of damages awarded and benefits assessed be addressed to the property owners by publishing same on the 23rd day of March, 30th day of March, and on the 6th day of April, 1956 in the South Bend Tribune and The Record. The following property may be injuriously or beneficially affected by such vacation Lots numbered:'.136-137 and 149-150, North Shore Terrace Addition. Andrysiak City Civil Engineer 3 VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 2823 This being the date set, hearing was held on the assessment roll showing the award of damages and the assessment of benefits in the matter of vacation of the Chicago Street'; (North) beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot No. 13 in the Chicago Plaza Addition, 1 ;thence North to the Northwest corner of Lot No. 9 thence West 60 feet to the Northeast cor- ner of Lot No. 18, thence South to the Southeast corner of Lot No. 14, thence East 60 feet .to place of beginning; all in the original Plat of Chicago Plaza Addition, under Vacation !Resolution No. 2823. In the above named assessment roll, no remonstrators appeared and no written remon jstrances i;iere filed. The Clerk of the Board submitted proofs of publication of notices ;and same Were found sufficient, and the Board, therefore, finds that the several lots 'have been benefited and damaged in the amounts shown on said roll. The Board, therefore,.; !decides to take final action on said assessment roll and declares same in all things rati fied, confirmed, and approved without modification and the proceedings closed, and the ;Alley vacated upon receipt of the amount of benefit assessments from the various proper- ty owners so benefited and all proceedings had with reference to said vacation are 'hereby sustained. In the above named assessment roll, no remonstrators appeared and no written remon- strances were filed. The Clerk of the Board submitted proofs of publication of notices and same were found sufficient, and the Board, therefore finds that the several lots have been benefited and damaged in the amounts shown on said roll. The Board, therefore decid to take final action on said assessment roll and declares same in all things ratified, co firmed, and approved without modification and the proceedings closed, and the Alley vacat upon receipt of the amount of benefit assessments from. the various property owners so ben Cited and all proceedings had with reference to said i vacation are hereby sustained. The Board now recessed until 11:30 A.M. (CST). The time now being 11:30 A.M. (CST), it was so announced and the bids for the Traff epartment were opened: Proof of publication in the South Bend Tribune signed Wj-th an of idavit by C. G.
