426 <br />This being the date set for hearing on the petition of Northern Indiana Transit,' <br />Inc. for an increase in rates, hearing was held. Present were Nicholas Cholis, Attorney <br />I for Northern Indiana Transit, Inc, and John T. Martin, President, and Par ron Anderson, • <br />representing Northern Indiana Transit., -Inc. Mr. Cholis presented proof of publication <br />of notice from the South Bend Tribune and the Tri-County News, and also an affidavit of <br />posting of notices in 13 public places in the City of South Bend, Indiana. The original,, <br />petition was dated December 7th, 1955• <br />Comes now Carl Findlay, 1031 Georgiana Avenue, to protest against an increase it <br />I rates as petitioned for. He stated that he is a constant rider of t1.e busses and the <br />increase in rates would be in effect a 20% increase for him. <br />William R.
