M] <br />All of the foregoing bids were referred to the engineer for tabulation and report. <br />( The Board, through Chairman R. S. Andrysiak,_informed all persons present that <br />this improvement will be carried stright through on the ten -gear Barrell Law program, <br />and the Board will proceed in the matter of making award of contract accopdingly. <br />i <br />City Attorney, I. A. Hurwich, then reported to the Board, the filing of a suit <br />during the past week for an injunction against the Chicago, South Bend and South Shore <br />_• �' Railway for alleged obstruction of the Circle Avenue area. After a full discussion <br />of the matter, the City Attorney requested the Board to direct the City Engineering <br />Department to prepare a report of all property boundary lines affecting Circle Avenue, <br />and. it was so ordered. <br />I, <br />The Board next examined Police Accident Report No- 47476 T-2476 covering accident <br />I+ which occurred Friday, October 21, 1955, at 2:45 P. M. involving city owned car, <br />! operated by Robert J. Shultz, and 1953 Cadillac driven by a laborer, Lincoln L. Weaver, <br />5710 Lincolnway West, South Bend, Indiana. The matter was referred to the City Controller. <br />I <br />The Board approved the installation of S-T-O-P signs at the following locations: <br />I Yukon Street, both sides, at Woodward Avenue <br />Frances Street, both sides, at Cedar Street <br />Frances Street, both sides, at Madison Street <br />Hartzer. Street, southwest corner, at Olive Street. <br />Contractorts Bonds, each in the sum of $1,000.00, were examined and approved for <br />James C. Sherry -and Charles E. Stafford. <br />There being no further business to come before the board, the meeting was adjourned <br />at 11:30 A. M.,.Thursday, <br />November 27, 1955, in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, as a continuance of <br />hearing and special meeting of Wednesday, October 19, 1955, in the matter of amended <br />and re -designed plans for sanitary sewers for the Bercliff Estates. Members present <br />were R. S. Andrysiak and I. A. Hurwich. <br />Also present at this meeting was Lud Emelity, consulting engineer with Chas. <br />W. Cole and Son. <br />
