32 Contractors Bonds, each in the sum of 51,000.00, were examined and approved for the following contractors: William Kerestury Ike K. Knutson Penn Builders, Inc. Gustaf E. Peterson Carl J. Reinke & Sons, Inc. Rieth-Riley Construction Co. There being no further business to come before the Board, at 11:25 A. M. Attest:G Clerk Addendum: RESOLUTION ACCEPTING FINAL ASSESSP:ENT ROLLS RESOLUTION NO. 2801-A & 2801-B the meeting was adjourned After hearing all persons interested who appeared and the Clerk of the Board of Public Works and Safety having proofs of publication of the notices to property owners and the same having been found sufficient, therefore BE IT RESOLVED, By the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend, Indiana, that the.Primary of Preliminary Assessment Rolls adopted by the Board on the 18th day of July, 1955, for the improvement of Jefferson Boulevard - 33rd Street Washington. Street and 34th Street, by constructing sewer, be and the same is in all things confirmed. SPECIAL MEETING August Ji, 1955 A special meeting of the Board of. Public Works was called for 9:00 A. M. C.S.T. ',,'Thursday, August 4, 1955, for the purpose of expediting street re -surfacing work for the 'seventeen streets scheduled for immediate attention, together with the re -surfacing .;proposed for Mishawaka Avenue. All members were present. i j The various aspects pertaining to condition of streets involved, detailed speci- {fications of materials, etc. were thoroughly discussed and the Board directed the Clerk to proceed with the required advertising. The Board also considered at this time the requisition of the Traffic Engineer j'for 180 gallons of white traffic paint and authorized the Clerk to proceed with the purchase.
