Residents can also call the Div. of Streets at 235-9244,
to request a pickup.
A third option is also available for recycling Christmas trees. Residents can
also drop off their live trees at the following locations:
Rum Village Park
- - Ewing Ave. at Gertrude St.

Pinhook Park
- - 2800 block of Riverside Dr.

Veterans’ Memorial Park
- - Twyckenham at Northside Blvd.
Please Note: Drop off is for Christmas trees ONLY - no trash is permitted
under any circumstances! Placing of any items other than Christmas trees is a
ticketable offense under the South Bend Municipal Code.

The drop-off locations are open seven days a week from 7 am to 5 pm and
signs will be posted to direct residents to designated drop-off points at each park.
All trees are recycled as Organic Resources into high quality mulch, which is
provided, free, to South Bend residents.

- 30 -
