Toner and Genevieve Toner <br />Louis DeBard <br />Andrew.Riedel and Louise Riedel <br />The Board examined and accepted Certificate of Insurance No. SO-114 under Master <br />Policy CB2912 by Underwriters of Lloyd's London for thirty-six calendar months, expiring <br />May 9, 1958, covering Ron -del awnings installation on south side of City Hall, as <br />described in certificate. <br />A petition, dated May 16, 1955, bearing six signature and calling for improvement <br />by -construction of local sewer in Meade Street, from Elwood Avenue to Keller Street, <br />was examined and referred to the City Engineer for investigation and recommendations. <br />A petition, dated May 16, 1955, bearing fourteen signatures and calling for the <br />improvement of Sibley Street, from College to Brookfield, by the construction of permanent <br />type pavement, was examined and referred to the City Engineer for investigation and <br />recommendations. <br />TRAFFIC ENGINEER: <br />The. request of Traffic Engineer, E. H. Miller, for permission to attend the Third <br />Annual Traffic Conference at Purdue University to be held on Thursday and Friday, May <br />1119th and 20th was next considered by the Board. Inasmuch as this conference will deal <br />';with a most important and pressing problem, the parking situation, the Board was in <br />0 unanimous agreement in gran.tifg this request. <br />o <br />The Board next examined and approved a maintenance bond, in the sum of $7,938.48 <br />;for the maintaining of concrete pavement on Alpine Street, from Miami Street to Norton <br />'.,Street, binding Nelda R. Keller, d/b/a Ralph Keller Co., as principal and American <br />Casualty Company as Surety. <br />Excavation Bonds in the sum of $10,000.00 each, for Hilton Construction Company,Inc., <br />and the New York Central Railroad, were examined and approved by the Board. <br />An Excavation Bond, in the sum of $2,000.00, for Jamos A, Currie, was examined and <br />approved by the Board. <br />The Board examined and approved excavation bond in the sum of $1,000.00, for <br />Indiana Bell Telephone Company. <br />Contractor's Bonds, each in the sum of $1,000.00, were examined and approved for <br />the following contractors: <br />Hilton Construction Co., Inc. <br />William Kelly <br />Richard H.
