Sniadecki, Director of Infrastructure <br />SUBJECT: WWTP SCADA Environment Windows Servers Upgrade <br />DATE: 11/14/17 <br />Linda, Jennifer, Michael & George, <br />Please see the attached quote and information below regarding upgrading the Waste <br />Water's Microsoft Servers within the Scada environment from windows 2003 & 2008 R2 <br />to 2012 R2. This will ensure that the SCADA systems will be supported for many years <br />to come including Microsoft WSUS (Patch) Server WSUS server. This upgraded WSUS <br />server will ensure that the SCADA servers and PCs/laptops will get the latest, up to date <br />Microsoft Security patches. With COSB pushing out the Windows 10 Operating system, <br />it was recommended to update all patch servers to at least Windows 2012 R2 operating <br />system. <br />There are 25 Windows Servers, within the Scada environment, that will get upgraded to <br />Windows 2016 R2 Operating System: <br />(x2, one each for Water/Wastewater HMI systems) <br />• Primary HMI Server <br />• Secondary HMI Server <br />• Primary HMI Live Data Interface Server <br />• Secondary NMI Live Data Interface Server <br />• Primary Historian Live Data Interface Server <br />• Secondary Historian Live Data Interface Server <br />(x1) <br />• Historian Server <br />• VantagePoint Server <br />• VMWare vCenter / Veem Server <br />• EactoryTalk Directory Server <br />• KepWareEX OPC Server (CSOnet Intergration) <br />• Primary Domain Controller <br />
