Copp, Chairman, St. Joseph County Society for Crippled <br />Children, for permission to conduct their annual "Lily Sale" on the downtown Streets, <br />Saturday, April 2, 1955, was next considered by the Board and approved, there being <br />no conflicting drive for funds on that date. <br />A Waiver of Easement and of Claims, furnished by Frank R. and Clara B. Lupa was <br />examined by the Board and found satisfactory. Permission was, accordingly, granted <br />for the installing of window or windows in the east wall and side of building, as <br />specifically described in waiver. <br />IMPROVEMENT RESOLUTION CONFIRMED <br />RESOLUTION No. 2801 - 1954 <br />For the improvement of JEFFERSON BOULEVARD, THIRTY-FOURTH STREET, WASHINGTON STREET'; <br />AND THIRTY-FIFTH STREET under Improvement Resolution No. 2801, 1954, adopted January <br />24, 1955, from approximately 200 ft. east of 26th Street to Logan Street on Jefferson <br />Boulevard, from Jefferson Boulevard to Washington Street on 34th Street; from 34th <br />Street to 35th Street on Washington Street, and from Washington Street to 0akcrest <br />Drive on 35th Street, by constructing a trunk sewer extension. <br />After hearing all persons interested who appeared and being fully advised on the <br />premises and the Clerk of the Board having shown proofs of publication of the notices <br />to property owners and the same having been found sufficient, the Board decides that <br />the benefits to the property liable to be assessed for said improvement are equal to <br />the estimated cost of the same as reported by the City Civil Engineer, therefore <br />BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Public Works and Safety of the City of South Bend, <br />Indiana, that Improvement Resolution No. 2801, 1954, duly passed by this Board on <br />January 24, 1955, for the above improvement be and the same is hereby in all things <br />confirmed, and the improvement is hereby ordered to be made. <br />R.
