211 <br />SPECIAL MSETING <br />A Special Meeting of the Board of Public Works was held in accordance with legal <br />notice of hearings on Tuesday evening,September 28, 1954, at 7:30 P. M. C.S.T. relative <br />to the following Improvement Resolutions: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2?91 - Improvement on Dundee Street from the center line of <br />I; Jefferson Street to the alley north of Western Avenue <br />by constructing a local sewer. <br />�I <br />I RESOLUTION NO. 2796 - Improvement on Donald Street from the west line of <br />+� Chapin Street to the east line of Kemble Avenue, by. <br />I constructing a Class 110 Pavement. <br />I <br />i <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2797 - Improvement on alley between Michigan Street and Main <br />Street from the north line of Madison Street to the <br />south line of Marion Street by constructing a Class "C" <br />Type 1, Pavement. <br />Member of the Board I. A. Hurwich was absent. Meeting was opened by Chairman <br />iof the Board R. S. Andrysiak, by introduction of the Board Members, and Richard B. <br />• 11Gartner, of Wilbur H. Gartner & Associates Engineers. <br />The Chairman then proceeded to explain in detail the financing procedure and <br />11the procedure of petitioning for and remonstrating against public improvements, following <br />,Iwhich he announced the front foot estimated cost, pointing out to the assembled home - <br />downers that this estimate represents maximum cost and thkt competitive bidding wll, <br />'; in all probability, lower the figure quoted. <br />j <br />I The meeting was then opened for informal discussion and examination of blueprints. <br />j: There being no other matters for consideration at this time, the meeting adjourned. <br />11 <br />1001, <br />• 'i <br />I <br />i <br />I <br />ji <br />• October 4, 1954 <br />A regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was held Monday, October 4, 1954, <br />a.t 10.00 A.
