South Bend Redevelopment Commission <br />Annual Organizational Meeting -January 4, 2010 <br />3. ELECTION OF OFFICERS <br />Ms. Jones conducted the election of officers. ELECTION OF OFFICERS FOR 2O1 O <br />PRESIDENT <br />Mr. Downes nominated Ms. Marcia Jones to serve as Ms. MARCIA JONES wns ELECTED PRESIDENT <br />President of the South Bend Redevelopment FOR 2010 <br />Commission. The nomination was seconded by Ms. <br />King. There were no further nominations. The vote <br />being unanimous, Ms. Marcia Jones was elected <br />President for 2010. <br />VICE PRESIDENT <br />Mr. Downes nominated Mr. David Varner to serve as MR. DAVID VARNER WAS ELECTED VICE <br />Vice President of the South Bend Redevelopment PRESIDENT FOR 2O1 O <br />Commission. The nomination was seconded by Ms. <br />King. There were no further nominations. The vote <br />being unanimous, Mr. Varner was elected Vice <br />President for 2010. <br />SECRETARY <br />Mr. Downes nominated Ms. King to serve as Secretary Ms. NANCY KING wns ELECTED SECRETARY <br />of the South Bend Redevelopment Commission. The FoR 2010 <br />nomination was seconded by Ms. Jones. There were no <br />further nominations. The vote being unanimous, Ms. <br />Nancy King was elected Secretary for 2010. <br />4. ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION N0.2639 <br />SETTING MAXIMUM SALARIES FOR 2010 AND <br />APPOINTING STAFF <br />Mr. Inks noted that the salaries in Resolution No. 2639 <br />correspond to the salaries approved by the Common <br />Council for these positions in 2010. Staff members do <br />not necessarily receive the maximum salary for their <br />positions and not every job classification is filled at the <br />present time. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Downes, seconded by Ms. King COMMISSION APPROVED RESOLUTION N0.2639 <br />and unanimously carried, the Commission approved SETTING MAXIMUM SALARIES FOR 2010 AND <br />APPOINTING STAFF <br />2 <br />
