<br />In a memorandum to the Board, Ms. Kathy Eli, Code Enforcement requested permission to
<br />advertise for the receipt of bids for the above referenced vehicles. Therefore, upon a motion
<br />made by Ms. Maradik, seconded by Ms. Fritzberg and carried, the above request was approved.
<br />APPROVAL OF REQUEST TO ADVERTISE FOR THE RECEIPT OF BIDS AND TITLE
<br />SHEET — WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT HEADWORKS INFLUENT GATE
<br />IMPROVEMENTS — PROJECT NO. 117-026 (UTILITIES, WASTEWATER CAPITAL)
<br />In a memorandum to the Board, Mr. Jacob Klosinski, Environmental Services, requested
<br />permission to advertise for the receipt of bids for the above referenced project. Also presented at
<br />this time for approval and execution was the Title Sheet. Upon a motion made by Ms. Maradik,
<br />seconded by Ms. Fritzberg and carried, the above request to advertise was approved, and the
<br />Title Sheet was approved and signed.

<br />In a memorandum to the Board, Mr. Tara Weigand, Engineering, requested permission to
<br />advertise for the receipt of bids for the above referenced project. Therefore, upon a motion made
<br />by Ms. Maradik, seconded by Ms. Fritzberg and carried, the above request was approved.

<br />In a memorandum to the Board, Ms. Tara Weigand, Engineering, requested permission to
<br />advertise for the receipt of bids for the above referenced project. Also presented at this time for
<br />approval and execution was the Title Sheet. Therefore, upon a motion made by Ms. Maradik,
<br />seconded by Ms. Fritzberg and carried, the above request was approved and the Title Sheet was
<br />approved and signed.
<br />ADOPT RESOLUTION NO. 43-2017 — A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC
<br />WORKS AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 37-2017, APPROVING A MASTER TAX-
<br />EXEMPT LEASE/PURCHASE AGREEMENT WITH PUBLICFINANCE.COM ACTING
<br />THROUGH U.S. BANCORP GOVERNMENT LEASING AND FINANCING, INC.
<br />Upon a motion made by Ms. Maradik, seconded by Ms. Fritzberg and carried, the following
<br />Resolution was adopted by the Board of Public Works:

<br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS FOR THE CITY OF SOUTH
<br />BEND, INDIANA AMENDING RESOLUTION NO.37-2017, APPROVING A MASTER
<br />TAX-EXEMPT LEASE/PURCHASE AGREEMENT WITH PUBLICFINANCE.COM
<br />ACTING THROUGH U.S. BANCORP GOVERNMENT LEASING AND FINANCING,
<br />INC.
<br />WHEREAS, on August 22, 2017, the City of South Bend Board of Public Works
<br />("Board") adopted Resolution No. 37-2017, Approving the Master Tax -Exempt Lease/Purchase
<br />Agreement with Publicfinance.com Acting through U. S. Bancorp Government Leasing and
<br />Financing, Inc. and appointing John Murphy, Chief Financial Officer of the City of South Bend
<br />to execute any documents on behalf of the Board in connection with the agreement; and
<br />WHEREAS, the Board, acting as the contracting body for the City of South Bend,
<br />Indiana ("City"), has the authority under the laws of Indiana to purchase, acquire and lease
<br />property; and
<br />WHEREAS, the Board has determined that a need exists for the purchase and subsequent
<br />financing of certain property for the benefit of the City's operation; and
<br />WHEREAS, in order to acquire such property, the Board has entered into a certain
<br />Master Tax -Exempt Lease/Purchase Agreement with Publicfinance.com acting through U.S.
