Minutes <br />of the previous meeting <br />were read <br />and approved. Tomlinson <br />116.35 <br />In the matter of the hearing scheduled for this date on the posting against public <br />use of that portion of East Colfax Avenue, between Ironwood Drive and Tuxedo Drive, <br />decision was made to set this hearing forward for 11:00 A. M. Monday, December 22, 1952• <br />i VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 2741 <br />This being the date set, hearing was held on the assessment roll showing the award <br />of damages and the assessment of benefits in the matter of vacation of the first alley <br />North of FORD STREET FROM WALNUT STREET EAST TO THE WEST LINE OF THE ALLEY EAST OF <br />WALNUT STREET, UNDER Vacation Resolution No. 2741. <br />In the above named assessment roll, no remonstrators appeared and no written re- <br />monstrances were filed, the Clerk of the Board submitted proofs of publication of notice <br />and same were found sufficient, and the Board, therefore, finds that the several lots <br />and parcels of land have been benefited and damaged in the amounts shown on said roll. <br />The Board, therefore, decided to take final action on said assessment roll and declares <br />same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved without modification and the pro- <br />ceedings closed, and portion of the alley vacated upon receipt of the amount of bene- <br />fit assessments from the various property owners so benefited and all proceedings had <br />i with reference to said alley vacation are hereby sustained. <br />VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 2742 <br />This being the date set, hearing was held on the assessment roll showing the award <br />of damages and the assessment of benefits in the matter of vacation of the following <br />alley or alleys, to.wit: <br />Commencing at a point seven feet (71) North of the <br />Southeast corner of Lot No. 30 as shown on the <br />Recorded Plat of Stull's Third Addition to the City <br />of South Bend, Indiana, and on the Westerly line of <br />Main Street; thence West one hundred sixty-five <br />feet (165t) to a point on the Westerly line of said <br />Lot No. 30, which is seven feet (71) North of the <br />Southwesterly corner of said Lot No. 30; thence <br />North thirty-six feet and two inches (36121T) to the <br />Northwesterly corner of said Lot No. 30;-thence <br />West fourteen feet (141 ); thence South fifty feet <br />and two inches (50t21t); thence East one hundred <br />seventy-nine feet (1791) to a point on the West <br />line of Main Street, which is seven feet (7t) South <br />i of the Southeasterly corner of said Lot No. 30; <br />thence North along the Westerly line of Main Street <br />fourteen feet (141) to the place of beginning, under <br />i Vacation Resolution No. 2742. <br />In the above named assessment roll, no remonstrators appeared and no written <br />remonstrances were filed, the Clerk of the Board submitted proofs of publication of <br />notices and same were found sufficient and the Board, therefore, finds that the several <br />• I lots and parcels of land have been benefited and damaged in the amounts shown on said <br />roll. Andrysiak, City Engineer, filed primary assessment roll showing the awards <br />of damages and the assessments of benefits in the matter of vacation of THE ALLEY NORTH <br />OF OAKWOOD BOULEVARD FROM BERKLEY PLACE TO THE WEST LINE OF THE NORTH AND SOUTH ALLEY <br />AND FROM THE EAST LINE OF THE NORTH AND SOUTH ALLEY EAST TO INGLEWOOD PLACE UNDER <br />Vacation Resolution No. 2743. <br />
