<br />The following property may be injuriously or beneficially affected by

<br />Notice of this resolution shall be published on the 21st day of November
<br />and on

<br />the 28th day of November, 1952, in the South Bend Tribune and the Tr.i-County
<br />News.
<br />This Board, at its office in the City Hall on the 8th day of December,
<br />1952, at
<br />11:00 A. M. will hear and receive remonstrances from all persons interested
<br />in or affected
<br />by these proceedings.

<br />FIRST ALLEY
<br />NORTH OF FORD STREET FROM WALNUT STREET east to the west line of the alley
<br />east of Walnut

<br />In the above named assessment roll, the Board hereby orders that it will meet in
<br />the City Hall at 11:00 A. M. on the 15th day of December, 1952 for the purpose of hearing
<br />and receiving remonstrances from all persons interested in or affected by said vacation,
<br />and the Board further orders that notice of said 'nearing;, together with the amount of
<br />damages awarded and benefits assessed be addressed to the property owners by publishing
<br />same on the 21st day of November, on the 28th day of November, and on the 5th day of
<br />December, 1952 in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri-County Nevis.

<br />and the assessments of benefits in the matter of vacation_ of the following: j
<br />Commencing at a point seven feet (7t) North of the Southeast
<br />corner of Lot No. 30 as shov.n on the Recorded Plat of Stull's
<br />Third Addition to the City of South Bend., Indiana, and on the
<br />Westerly line of IMain Street; thence ?Nest one hundred sixty-
<br />five feet (1651) to a point on the Westerly line of said Lot
<br />No. 30, which is seven feet (71 ) North of the Southwesterly
<br />corner of said Lot No. 30; thence North thirty-six feet and
<br />two inches (36t2") to the Northwesterly corner of said Lot No. •
<br />30; thence West fourteen feet (141 ); thence South fifty feet
<br />and two inches (5012"); thence East one hundred seventy-nine
<br />feet (1791) to a point on the west line of Main Street, which
<br />is seven feet (7t) South of the Southeasterly corner of said
<br />Lot No. 30; thence North along the Westerly line of Main Street
<br />fourteen feet (14t) to the place of beginning, under Vacation
<br />Resolution No. 2742.
<br />In the above named assessment roll, the.Board hereby orders that it will meet in
<br />the City Hall at 11:00 A. M. on the 15th day of December, 1952 for the purpose of
<br />hearing and receiving remonstrances from all persons interested in or affected by said
<br />vacation, and the Board further orders that notice of said hearing, together with the •
<br />amount of damages awarded and benefits assessed be addressed to the property owners by
<br />publishing same on the 21st day of November, on the 28th day of November, and on the
<br />5th day of December, 1952 in the South Bend Tribune and the Tri-County News.
<br />The Board next took up for consideration an application for Taxicab Driver's
<br />license, which had been rejected by the City Controller under date of November 13, 1952.
<br />The Board in turn, sustained the rejecting of the application and directed the Clerk to
<br />so notify the applicant, setting the hour of 11:00 o'clock, :Monday, November 24, 1952
<br />as the time for a hearing before the Board in this matter, in the event the applicant
<br />desires to present to the Board character �iitnesses and protest refusal of license.
<br />An Excavation Bond in the sum of $1,000.00, binding L. 0. Hawkins d/b/a Hawkins � •
<br />Plumbing and Supply Company, was examined and approved by the Board.
