For the re -surface pavement of WEST SAMPLE STREET from the east line of Walnut Street to the west line of Kosciuszko Street. TOTAL ITEM EXTENSION -------------------------------- $16,692.50 To be completed within 45 calendar days after contract is awarded. Reed Construction Co., 2022 N. Main Street, Mishawaka, Indiana. A Non -Collusion Affidavit and Bidderts Bond accompanied the bid. For the re -surface pavement of WEST SAMPLE STREET from the east line of Walnut Street to the west line of Kosciuszko Street. TOTAL ITEM EXTENSION ------------------------------ $16,905.00 To be completed within 45 calendar days after contract is awarded. Mr. Andrysiak then announced that all bids were being taken under advisement and contracts will be awarded one week from this date. Pulaski Post No. 357, American Legion, having requested yellow traffic lines painted at the entrance from Chapin Street to the Postts parking lot, the matter receive the consideration of the Board and was referred to the -Traffic Engineer for his in- vestigation and report. The time now being 12:15 M, the Board recessed, and resumed its deliberations at 1: 45 P . M . The next matter taken up by the Board was that of final payment on Contract 4-A, Barna Massa Construction Company, Contractors. Robert D. OtNeal, Secretary and Treasurer of the Barna Massa Construction Company, was present, together with Ralph Moorhouse, Resident Engineer of Consoer,Townsend & Associates. The file of the Board of Public Works containing all statements filed with the Board, as charges against Barna Massa Construction Company, was examined in detail and tentative settlement was arranged for all legitimate claims on file. Contractors Bonds, each in the sum of $1,000.00, for Floyd A. Barrier and Harold A. Heltzel were examined and approved. Excavation Bond in the sum of $1,000.00, for Henry DeWulf of Mishawaka, Indiana, was examined and approved.
