The petition of Walter and Rowena Crump, dated July 10, 1952, to vacate a portion of <br />Carroll Street, having had the recommendation of the City Plan Commission was approved <br />by the Board and referred to the Engineering Department for further consideration. <br />A petition dated August 15, 1952 to vacate the east and west alley between Berkley <br />Place and Inglewood Place was examined by the Board and referred to the City Plan <br />Commission. <br />A petition dated August 12, 1952 for the concrete paving of the alley between <br />Adams and College Street in the block between Vassar and Humboldt was examined and <br />referred to the City Engineer for consideration. <br />A petition , dated September 4. 1952 for the construction of a sewer in Tuxedo <br />Drive from Washington Street north to a point 300.49 feet south of the south line of <br />McKinley Avenue was examined and referred to the City Engineer. <br />PETITIONS DENIED <br />Petition, dated June 10, 1952, for the vacation of alley from Rex Street to <br />California Avenue was.not recommended by the City Plan Commission and was accordingly <br />denied. <br />Petition, dated July 16, 1952, for the vacation of alley between EastMonroeand <br />East South Streets in the 1300 block in Sunnymede Addition was not recommended by the <br />City Plan Commission and was accordingly denied. <br />The following Contractorts Bonds in the amount of $1,000.00 each, were examined and <br />approved by the Board: <br />Colpaert Realty Corporation <br />George Curtis <br />Richard P. Healy and Jack A. Kuhl <br />Imbro Brothers <br />D. J. Pe trou <br />Paul L. Pocza <br />W. R. Shaffner <br />The following Excavation Bonds, each in the amount of $1,000.00, were examined <br />and approved by the Board: <br />Harry E. Brinker <br />N@rthern Indiana Public Service Co. <br />Harold H. Schanfald. <br />A request to extend the 2" gas main on East Jefferson Boulevard from W.P.L. <br />of 32nd Street east a distance of 392 ft. due to the proposed sewer line to be run on <br />the north side of Jefferson was examined and approved. <br />A letter from Place and Company, Inc., relative to the need of busses for school <br />children now living in the McKinley Terrace area was read and referred by the Board to <br />the School City for attention. <br />There being no further business to come before the Board, the meeting was adjourned' <br />at 12:00 otclock noon. <br />I <br />i <br />Attest: <br />Clerk <br />9 <br />• <br />• <br />• <br />9 <br />
