A Non -Collusion Affidavit <br />SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. and Bidderts Bond accompanied <br />i the Bid. <br />For the Improvement of HUIVB30LDT STREET from the west line of Fremont <br />Street to the west line -of alley west of Meade Street. <br />• TOTAL EXTENSION OF ITEES 1-1, 2-11 41 51 & 6----------- 6862.50 <br />Completion date on or before November 150 1952. <br />I The bids were referred to the engineer for tabulating and report at the next <br />meeting. <br />RESOLUTION NO, 2727 - 1952 <br />This being the date set, hearing was held on the assessment roll showing the award <br />of damages and the assessment of benefits in the matter of vacation of Twelve (12) feet <br />. off of the south side of West .Woodside Street from the west line of Main Street west <br />(three-hundred-fobty-three (343) feet to the Pennsylvania Railroad Right -Of -Way, under <br />!vacation resolution No. 2727. <br />In the above named assessment roll, no remonstrators appeared and no written <br />remonstrances were filed, the Clerk of the Board submitted proofs of publication of <br />!notices and same were found sufficient, and the Board, therefore, finds that the several ; <br />!lots and parcels of land have been benefited and damaged in the amounts shown on said <br />Troll. The Board, therefore, decided to take final action on said assessment roll and ' <br />;declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved without modification and i <br />(the proceedings closed, and the portion of the street vacated upon receipt of the amount i <br />of benefit assessments from the various property owners so benefited and all proceedings <br />jihad with reference to said street vacation are hereby sustained. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2728 - 1952 <br />This being the date set, hearing was held on the assessment roll showing the award <br />of damages and the assessment of benefits in the matter of vacation of the first alley <br />North of Fox Street from the west line of High Street west to the Studebaker Golf Linkso <br />under vacation resolution No. 2728. <br />In the above named assessment roll, no remonstrators appeared and no written <br />!remonstrances were filed, the Clerk of the Board submitted proofs of publication of <br />notices and same were found sufficient, and the Board, therefore, finds that the several <br />• !lots and parcels of land have been benefited and damaged in the amounts shown on said <br />;roll. The Board, therefore, decided to take final action on said assessment roll and <br />(declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved without modification and <br />;the proceedings closed, and the alley vacated upon receipt of the amount of benefit <br />!assessments from the various property owners so benefited and all proceedings had with <br />!reference to said salley vacation are hereby sustained. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2729 - 1952 <br />This being the date set, hearing was held on the assessment roll showing the award <br />of damages and the assessment of benefits in the matter of vacation of East Washington <br />Avenue from the east line of Tuxedo Drive East a distance of one -hundred -thirty (130) <br />feet, under vacation resolution No. 2729. <br />In the above named assessment roll, no remonstrators appeared and no written <br />remonstrances were filed, the Clerk of the Board submitted proofs of publication of <br />notices and same were found sufficient, and the Board, therefore, finds that the several <br />(lots and parcels of land have been benefited and damaged in the amounts shown on said <br />;roll. The Board, therefore, decided to take final action on said assessment roll and <br />declares same in all things ratified, confirmed and approved without modification and <br />the proceedings closed, and the street vacated upon receipt of the amount of benefit <br />assessments from the various property owners so benefited and all proceedings had with <br />reference to said street vacation are hereby sustained. <br />• The Board next considered the urgency for the repair of sidewalk in the 600 block <br />jPortage Avenue and the construction of seventy-five (75) feet of sidewalk on Washington <br />l at Chestnut, petition for which was approved by the Board under date of March 10, 1952• <br />
