453 <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br />June 25, 1952 <br />' A special meeting of the Board of Public Works was held at 2:30 P.M. DST, Wednesday <br />June 25, 1952. Members present were Granville P. Ziegler and I. A. Hurwich. The <br />i meeting was held for the purpose of examining and determining upon the award of contract <br />Ifor the trailer for the Street Department, for which bids were received and opened at <br />the regular meeting of the Board, Monday, June 23rd. <br />After careful consideration and upon the recommendation of the Street Commissioner, <br />H. V-1. Tomlinson, who was present, the Board awarded the contract to Stockberger-Seastro <br />Inc. of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, and the Clerk was directed to issue purchase order for this <br />emergency equipment need of the Street Department without further delay. <br />There being no other business to comebef me this meeting, same was adjourned at <br />3:30 P.M. <br />ATTEST: L�'�c. .Q24 <br />It - <br />Clerk <br />June 30, 1952 <br />i A regular meeting of the Board of Public Works was held Monday, June 30, 1952 <br />at 10:00 A. M. All members were present. Minutes of the previous meeting were read <br />and approved, as were also the minutes of the special meeting of June 25th. Harrison, Electrical <br />Inspector, appeared before the Board and <br />called <br />attention to the urgency in having <br />the cindered alley on the north side of, and adjacent <br />!to the North Pumping Station, oiled <br />by the <br />Street Department. The Board was in -agreement <br />approved the oiling of this cindered <br />driveway, and directed Street Commissioner, <br />H. M. <br />jTomlinson to proceed with this work. <br />Next appeared Mr. Daniel Radmanovich and presented a drawing and photographic prints <br />lof the type of concrete bench he desires to install at suitable bus stops throughout <br />!the City. The Board examined these and permitted Mr. Radmanovich to outline to them <br />Ithe bus patrons facilities he is offering. The Board took the matter under advisement <br />pending consultation with the Mayor and the Traffic Engineer. <br />Chas. M. Boynton, Attorney, appeared before the Board and presented Stipulation of <br />Facts for the signatures of the Board members, relative to compensation to be allowed <br />
