VACATION RESOLUTION NO. 2698 This being the date set, hearing was had on the resolution heretofore adopted by the Board of Public Works for the vacation of the alley East of St: Peter Street from the South Line of the'First alley South of Wayne Street to the north line of the Grand Trunk Railroad right-cf-way, under Vacation Resolution No. 2698. The Clerk of the Board having shown sufficient proofs of publication and no remonstrators having appeared and no written remonstrances having been filed with the Clerk, it was moved, and seconded and unanimously carried that the said resolution be'finally adopted and the said alley,be vacated. The Engineering Department is directed to -prepare an assessment roll covering the assessment of benefits and the award of damages ' to the surroufidin' g ;propertie s Mr. R. S. Andrysiak, City Engineer, filed primary assessment roll showing awards of damages and the assessments of benefits in the matter of vacation of the alley East of St. Peter Street from the South line of the first alley South of Wayne Street to the North line of the Grand Trunk right-of=way under Vacation Resolution No.2698. j:. In the above named assessment roll, the Board hereby orders that it will meet in the City Hall at 11: 00 A. M. on the 'l,lth day Of F-ebruary, '1952., for the purpose of hearing and receiving remonstrances from all persons interested in or affected by • said vacation, and the Board further orders that notice of said hearing, together, with the amount of damages awarded and benefits assessed to be addressed to the property owners by publishing same on the lst day of February and the 8th day of - February 1952, in the South Bend Daily Tribune and the Tri-County News. S. Andrysiak, examined and approved i Illinois Street from Lincolnway West to Keller Street Wellington Street from Elwood Avenue to Keller Street Kenmore Street from Elwood Avenue to Keller Street Elwood Avenue from Illinois Street to Kenmore Street. An Excavation Bond for Taylor Brothers, 3535 E. McKinley Ave., South Bend, Indiana and signed by Robert L. Taylor as principal was examined, approved and ordered placed on file.
