<br />TAXI CABS; Mr. Bert Liss appeared before the Board to present a petition asking for a
<br />taxi cab stand at 209 South Michigan Street in front of R,,obertsonts-Department Store,
<br />relinquishing the one that has been allotted to him on. South Main Street, immediately
<br />south of the loading zone in front of the Odd.Fellows Building. He also presented a let -
<br />;ter from the Robertson Department Store indicating their willingness that a cab stand be
<br />;established in front of their store. The Board, after conferring tith the Traffic Engine r,
<br />decided to grant their request.

<br />approve gravel street in their project asoa temporary project. The Board, upon the recom
<br />emendation of the City Engineer, granted approval provided the gravel is laid and graded
<br />to a depth of at least four inches.

<br />WHEREAS, A plat with dedication of streets and alleys.indicated thereon is now pre -
<br />send to the Board, to be known as Walnut Grove Street lay -out dedication plan an addition

<br />were filed, the Clerk of the Board submitted proofs of publication of notices and same
<br />were found sufficient, and the Board, therefore, finds that the several lots and parcels
<br />.of land have been benefited and damaged in the amounts shown on said roll. The Board,
<br />I,therjefore, decided to take final action on said assessment roll and declares same in all
<br />'things ratified, confirmed and approved without modification and the proceedings closed,
<br />`and the alley vacated upon receipt of the amount of benefit assessments from the various
